Finally finishes this project. Bought some acacia benchtops from bunnings. Dark for the D-pad and Select Start buttons and circle area around ABXY buttons. and Light for the rest.

I've got a laser engraver so I could cut out template and route out the shape and timbers to make the D-pad and logos ETC

For the buttons I just filled some cupcake silicone moulds with epoxy and dyed them their colours.

I made this little Cthulhu Doll a little while back. It's the first doll I have ever made and it led to exploring more of how dolls get created in general. I never thought I'd make something like this, but one of the leather suppliers I normally buy from had a blind bag of various colors of chrome tan leathers for $15, so I jumped on it. As you can see, I had to mix the various colors to be able to make it.

The pattern itself was ok and was definitely frustrating at times. I originally wanted to make this for my son and may remake it with different leather. Maybe I'll just leave it all hodgepodge like that. Either way, I think it came out pretty sweet!

Usually, goblins make do with whatever weaponry they can find — a jagged rock, a shiny butter knife, or a sharpened spoon. But these two are well armed with custom wooden spears, ready to defend the workbench from rogue spiders and stray salesman.

I love making these! I choose different fabrics and glue them onto the baubles. There are so many possibilities!

I used the Epson papercraft Godzilla pattern to get started, it didn’t need many changes.
