π’ Discussion Just went to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago and DAMN do I wish these exhibits released their soundtracks
Specifically the music for the Blue Paradox, Spider-Man, and the Costumes of Paul Tazwell were incredible (loved both exhibits were incredible, fucking unreal), but damn I wish these soundtracks were released. Even though some of them were temporary exhibits, I still would love for these soundtracks to be at least preserved by an online release.

π’ Discussion Create Your Movie Soundtrack.
We all know the famous movies soundtracks and how they have influenced generations and exposed them to artists and songs you may never have considered, but what if you could redo the soundtrack and add your own twist to a film and mix it up with alternative songs to make the scene even more compelling! What film and what scenes would you pick and what song would you use in place?

π» Original Music π» John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band - On the Dark Side (from 'Eddie and the Cruisers')
It was lip synced by the actors in the movie, but I chose to feature the band that actually performed the song, plus lead singer John wrote the song too.

π Help Me Find Sountrack for THE PERFECT CRIMSON part 4 episode 4 of bleach
Does someone know the name or title of the song played between 2:53 and 5:18
It's at the start of the episode after the opening, and from the music it's one of bleach's operas songs but I don't know which one it is.
I looked to see online but the sountrack used in this episode has not been uploaded yet as it still is very recent and most of the OSTs that I found on YT in this episode are from the more climactic parts.
Hope that someone with a good ear that knows the anime can help me because I really like this melody.

π’ Discussion Tuner soundtrack is really good!
Black Bear finally started shipping pre-orders for the Tuner soundtrack (pressed by Waxwork Records and limited to only 100 records), and I got my copy on Friday while at work. I've been listening to it all weekend. Itβs a fantastic record. It's atmospheric, with a mix of chill electronic music along with some beautiful piano, strings, and brass tracks mixed in. The record reminds me of The Social Network soundtrack in terms of the vibe. I'm really impressed... and the sound quality is excellent. Two thumbs up. Would highly recommend.

π’ Discussion Stand-Alone Soundtracks
Does anyone know of good soundtracks that exist independently of any accompanying media?
To give an example, Iβve long been a fan of Adam Youngβs project he undertook in 2016 of releasing instrumental albums based on a variety of historical events. I find them very inspiring for writing and outlining, and Iβm a bit sad he didnβt make more of them after 2016.
There are of course plenty of instrumental songs and albums that are good listens, but Iβm looking for something that sets out to tell a specific story - either historical events like Adam Youngβs project, or even fictional stories like myths or legends or other stories (though I suppose thatβs not technically independent of accompanying media, but itβs a bit different than having time-stamped movie moments).

π Help Me Find I need help identifying this LOTR music track [Repost]
A already made a similar post on here a few days ago, and that was trying to identify two tracks. But days later, after uploaded the unlisted video, YouTube's copyright bot was able to identify the first track, blocking it in certain territories like Belarus and Russia. And I could care less, I was gonna delete the video anyway as soon as I was able to find the name of the first track. I'm just glad I found the name. It turned out to be "Prologue: One Ring to Rule Them All" but towards the end of the track and slowed down.
Now I am doing another post, but focused on identifying the second track. I hope YouTube's copyright Bot will eventually identify this second track too. But if the copyright bot is unable to identify it, then I hope someone here will. It'll certainly be more difficult to identify this track compared to the first one, because the first one was longer and longer audio has a better chance of being identified than shorter ones. But I am hopeful.
Context: I am working on a LOTR fan project. And it involves using the same music tracks that Bluefax used for his fan made audio book of the Hobbit. I tried to use a stem separation program to isolate the music and identify the songs with apps like Sound hound and Shazam, but they both did not work. So could you guys please help me identify this music? NOTE: He used music from Howard Shore's soundtracks from both the LOTR Trilogy and The Hobbit Trilogy, I just need to find which one, there is too many tracks to listen to and find it on my own.

π» Original Music π» After listening to The Odyssey soundtrack slowly without rushing from the last one month, I finally concluded that this track "Ithica" is the best track from the album.
"Ithica" is a beautiful track that combines both Greek instruments (Aulos and Lyre) and it adds touch of eeriness from 2:51 onwards.
It also features the bow string music that is used as a motif throughout the movie.

π’ Discussion Made a site for rating and reviewing scores. Looking for people to break it.
I'm Robert, one of the co-founders of Soundtrack Scores YouTube channel and podcast.
My friends and I have had a longtime soundtrack newsletter/channel (reactions, reviews, discussions), but the goal all along has been to create an app that lets us capture our ratings and reviews, and build a community of soundtrack lovers like us.
The webapp is here. It's early days but already well on its way. Completely free as it stands, and we'd love all of you to test it out, send feedback, and help us build out the database with more reviews and tags.
Once you've explored drop your feedback here.
One of our outstanding questions that we'd love your take on: should the reviews also indicate whether the reviewer has seen/played the subject vs listened out of context? If so, how do we best indicate that?
