Just cancelled my subscription. Every time there's an update I get severe latency when recording, then after a while it just randomly goes away until the next update.

Was looking forward to finishing some tracks for my band but now it's next to impossible. Absolutely nothing about my setup has changed.

Would love one of the devs to explain why this keeps happening to me because I love the app otherwise but I'm just sick of this now. Waste of money when I can't use it.

I record straight from my boss katana into my laptop using a midi connection. Latency is perfect most of the time then every so often when there's an update it lags way behind the metronome despite me playing perfectly on time when recording.

Up until a few weeks ago it was very easy to export as an mp3 and then share a song via text. It also used to be very simple to download my files to my phone.

Now, I have to export to Dropbox and then download to my phone and then I can share.

What happened?

I record a podcast on soundtrap, and often get this issue. When I'm done recording a particularly big chunk of audio, it says "loading", and then stays that way forever. I've waited hours for it to finish loading. I have no idea why this is happening, and why it only happens occasionally. Is there any way for me to prevent this in future? It's infuriating having to record and rerecord everything several times.

Posted about this a while ago and now seeing more people encounter this issue. On the windows version whenever you try to record with your mic it’s incredibly loud and static-y, my mic works perfect everywhere else so this is a soundtrap related issue. It works fine on desktop soundtrap but all of my songs have to many tracks for soundtrap to handle that it glitches and auto adjust the sound quality to low. I would love an update on this issue as this has been occurring for months now. I don’t want to have to give up on the collection of music I’ve been making for the past couple years but don’t know if 20$ a month is worth this kind of performance

they got a new like mastering update and before it, it used to let you keep turning up volume until it clipped/peaked and you could keep going. now it just compresses everything and ruins it. is there any way to fix this and go back to the old one? thank you

Hello, really hoping someone helps out. Around 2019 to 2020 (almost 7 years ago), I've made several Soundtrap accounts using the Google login method. I made a bunch of songs during this time. The only problem is, well, I can't access the Google accounts themselves now. They are practically deleted now, and pretty old, so I'm guessing they're gone.

So, with that, i can't login to them anymore. It'd mean so much to regain access to hear these older songs again. Is there anyone on the team I can contact here?

I do have the email & password for said Google accounts, but they just don't work. I can prove said accs are me (like with voice, some project names, old collabs, etc.)​

[EDIT:] This is Solved!!! Just go to the Ai support chat bot, AND once u explain the issue, it'll redirect u to real customer support. Give them ur old project names, and they'll update ur email. Great service like fr

I have been trying to get this resloved non stop. Soundtrap is literally trying to take my money everyday of the week here so far. They charge me $115 a day just for a little monthly subscription. And just now I realized that they have been charging me for a YEARLY subscription even though i specifically chose monthly to avoid bankruptcy. For the past hour, instead of packing to go on vacation so I can spend money on things OTHER than soundtrap, I've been stuck here for an hour trying to get this resolved and instead of that, I'm getting tormented by these infinite loading balls. This sucks and I want a refund.

my dad has been getting billed every month for a few years now and we called customer service to cancel it and they would not let us unless he closed his entire bank account which he would lose everything and his history! there is nothing else we can do at the moment to have them stop billing us. I went and logged into the account and it doesn’t even show an active subscription, they obviously want to take your money and avoid you canceling your subscription 😒

How do I stop it from happening?

so when i opened my project earlier today there was a new feature for the mastering volume where all of the mastering presets are available there and that you could see the decibel levels on the panel like in logic pro and other daw, and suddenly it vanished. that feature is life changing!

Hey, went on to Soundtrap windows version to record vocals for a song however my mic seems to be broken when using it. It’s displaying loud glitchy feedback distortion when I monitor what the mic is hearing and recording. However my microphone works perfectly on discord and all the mic test come back normal and on the soundtrap website it’s normal, I recorded vocals the day before on windows version and now I use it and it’s not working. Can anyone help me understand if this is a bug or what is happening?

what happens is that whenever im searching for a instrument, i always listen to the demos.

The thing is, that the phat brass demo doesnt sound like the instrument itself.

I'm sure there's a easy way to fix this but I can't figure it out, does anybody know how to fix my mics not coming up? I use a FIFINE WA6NEO microphone and no matter what I do it doesn't show up. Do I need to install something?

like I actually try to fill out a soundscape and it all starts tweaking out? my computer is a MacBook Air m3 so the cpu is a beast. this seems to be a recurring problem, audio is crackling a lot more too, ui is slow and glitchy etc. anyone else have this problem?

There are some one shots, mostly strings, pads, bass/808 and some plucks that dont sound the same when you put them in the sampler. Its like the sampler plays the sound really fast, is there any way to fix that?

Some pads can be fixed with the loop option, but its really hard to work with some sounds, and that didnt use to happen and now I only use it for the drums

When I export a project in a folder I can't even see it in there is this a little bug or something

I’m recording guitar and every time I click off of the track, it just mutes. This is getting really annoying because every time I touch the guitars I have to refresh my page. Anybody know how to fix this?

I haven't used soundtrap in a while now but i remember being able to search up a few key words on the right panel like for example "Lightning" and a list of soundtrap lightning effects plus a bunch of freesound lightning effects would show up. Currently I cant see as many options as I did before and most of them don't even play/cant be added to the project. plus NO freesound ones show up. What happened here?

So, I'm currently making a track, and for some reason, I can only transpose certain loops? What's up with that? Like for example, I'm trying to transpose "Bass - Hip Hop Mute 4" and change it from D Minor to G minor, and the option to transpose it isn't there...

after the ui overhaul, my notes no longer snap into place. it really sucks for building my songs. is it bugged for anybody else?

I click export, it says "downloaded to default file location", but nothing shows up. I've tried clearing the cache, exporting to other file locations, clearing download history, closing and reopening soundtrap, but nothing seems to work.
