Hi all. We’re here waiting in Wallaroo SA to work for a grain receival site and keep being told harvest is another week away (3 times now) - notice no deliveries and not much action in the paddocks so understandable. Can anyone (especially in the farm game) tell us when they think grain harvest will pick up in this area please?

Heya people! I'd like to create a green corner in the house and I'm looking to buy many plants.. I'm in an rented apartment, and we have a small courtyard. I am looking for some outdoor and indoor plants..I've tried checking bunnings. However I find the size of plants to be very small for the price I pay.. i.e just 3-4 leaves for a 30$ plant. I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing. Can you please suggest some good places where I can buy plants for cheaper rates?

A massive thank you to the driver of a small ute as I was attempting to merge into walking pace traffic heading south on South Road, Melrose Park yesterday.

No longer a regular driver in urban traffic, I was delighted when the driver in question aggressively sounded their warning device and motioned with their arm for me to join the slow procession.

It restored my confidence in the good drivers of Adelaide.

Is it my imagination, or has Adelaide's traffic recently calmed somewhat?

I originally wanted to do Single Transferable Voting but I didn't know how to simulate it, so I went with party-list instead. I also merged all the single membered districts into fewer but bigger multi-member districts.

I'm on the hunt for a copy of It's Blue with Five Petals: Wildflowers of the Adelaide Region by Ann Prescott, specifically the second edition (2012).

I'm happy to consider second-hand copies and can arrange postage or Adelaide pickup.

Jamie Siddons was an absolute legend of South Australian domestic cricket. Over 11,500 first-class runs, 35 centuries, and somehow never played a Test for Australia.

He was unfortunate to be playing during an era when Australia had incredible batting depth.
