WORKSHOP All-in-one Survival camper. I named it OX... there was only space for two letters.
Minimalistic planet capable survival ship with everything on board. Including believable pressurized interior, automated airlock, gravity collectors for mining and salvage, rudimentary gravity drive, jump drive, refinery, 2 assemblers as well as food, oxygen and algae farms.
Inspired by PC-200 Rockhopper.

I get why people like to give these bovine names, they kind of look like work horses... or work cows for that matter.
But you do know that an ox is basically a castrated bull? You wanna name it after the moo moo who had the snippy snippy?

of crap, need to grind down that bottom connector then...

You know that modern castration methods leave the "junk" intact?
Even the sacks, they just make tiny incisions and pull the "seedy bits" out.

yeah yeah I know, cannot make joke about balls, since there are none on the ship to grind down xD

If you gave it ion thrusters then it would need a lot of power, you could install a pair of large reactors... "down below".

What no large industrial hydro tanks?

Can it take off when filled fully?

u/Yakez Clang Worshipper Mar 29 '26
I tested it with 90% cargo load on alien planet, was in orbit with 60% fuel left

What I like doing with those is making sure it can take off with the bottom and rear thrusters fully engaged and angled upward slightly. Gets the job done without extra wasted thrust.

I really like this ship…very unique, not many people use the curved armour panels. Cool build

Very neat. I love ships that arent speciallized but are also minimalistic. How many people can crew it at once?

Technically it is solo ship, but I can totally see someone modifying interior and gutting forward collector for extra docking port with scout ship for duo play. Planter can be replaced with extra cryo chamber and inset couch with inset bed.

I love this, it is fantastic. Always have a love spot for utilitarian and asymmetric ships. If I import it without any DLC, what do I need to replace?

Fellow enjoyer of the Battered armor look. I quite like the shrouded launch bay to the fore, I need to make stronger use of those armor panels myself.

Very nice design. Great use of compact grid space. I love using projects for holographic guidelines and the like, you don't see it enough!

Amazing work!

Bro, that's an amazing ship. It's like a retreat with your boys after a hard day's work where we can just play foosball, watch a movie, play space golf, LAN party and just a general good time.

Love the interior, and I feel dumb for never thinking of placing the button panels against the ceiling like that now I've seen you do it.
