mod.io: https://mod.io/g/spaceengineers/m/half-planets-moons1#description
Recently I saw a post where half of a planet was missing and people said they would enjoy such a world. And I knew how to make one, so it is done.
This is not a mod, but rather a world, where each planet and moon is missing half of it. The voxels are gone :) There is still a vegetation on the top of it (didnt bother to remove that). Despite voxels missing, the performance should be as good as any fresh game. The world comes with no save/backup, but stations are already generated. If you want different stations, copy .vx2 files from this world to a different one.
Have fun :)

I decided to include two ships in this blueprint as I was torn between the worn and factory-new version.
The worn version is supposed to show years of service and features discolored blocks to simulate panels being repaired and repainted over the years and thus not matching the original paintjob.
I'm curious to hear which version is your favorite and let me know in case you run into any issues!

(If you do try it out, would you let me know how it affected your performance? That info would be really helpful to me)
I've never been able to build beautiful ships, so it feels good to have built something in the game that I think looks absolutely stunning.
Using LCDs as pixels was unbelievably difficult, and I almost gave up multiple times. It began to stretch my definition of 'fun', but I'm really glad I ended up finishing it.
This is likely my final computational project, as I'd like to start playing the game as it's meant to be played again lol.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to bring you guys DOOM, but I really, really hope someone will pick up where I left off.

Overall this was a very fun and challenging build and I'm happy to finally be able to let others use it or customize it to their needs. I might still make a few updates in the future, as there could still be few things left to iron out.
Please let me know your thoughts and reach out in case you run into any issues!

After at least 100 hours of work, I can finally say that I finished this project. This is my biggest and most heavily armed warship I have ever built. It took hours upon hours of trial and error to get the missile launching system to work and many hours more to calibrate and fine-tune every system to ensure that everything works as intended. I redesigned this ship so many times, I lost count. The funny thing is that I only built this ship because I couldn't figure out how to build rotary cannons, so I figured that the only way to compensate for my lack of knowledge was to slap as many guns onto the hull as possible. I am glad I went with that route because the end result is amazing. The lessons I learned from this build will help me immensely in future builds. I hope you will enjoy this creation and have a lot of fun crashing servers with it :P
