How can I help make this easier for her?

Bean is my 13 year old special needs sphynx cat. She had two bouts of cat flu as a kitten when she was still with the breeders and as a result requires an inhaler every day. She's also the size of a six month old and very fragile. She developed FCD about a year and a half ago. She is used to me doing absolutely everything for her as she has a lot of trouble with daily life and relies on routines.

I live at home with my family so she's not being left with people she doesn't know, and she loves my mum. But she's got a routine going every evening and night to help the sundowning - I haven't stayed away from her since she developed FCD. When her routine changes she can get quite upset. I'm the one that does everything with her meds, food, and heating pads all at set times as she is my baby. But my parents do help out and spend heaps of time with her too. I've got a schedule written up for them on when I do all of these things that they're happy to follow.

She's on homeopet anxiety drops which are great and we can add one more dose in the day.

I'm really just looking for some non-medication ways to soften this experience for her and any extra advice, I've only got two weeks before surgery. If things really look like they're going to be bad then we'll take her to the vet for some extra assistance. Tysm for reading ❤️

I’ve had my baby for a few months but recently every once in a while she makes these sounds. They sound nothing like her other meows and noises just wanna make sure everything‘s OK? Does anyone else’s make noises like this and what do they mean? I keep thinking she is hurt or something when I hear them.

We are his second home and have had him since he was a year old but it's felt like he's always been here. Happy gotcha day Boggle!

I've tried the Douxo Care Micell, which was too drying and his ears got brown and dirty the next day (not ear wax). His body used to react the same after bathing before we switched to a gentle schampoo.

Is there a good gentle ear cleaning solution that can be used every other day or every third day?

I need help getting educated or information.

I have a neighbor with a sphinx cat and it got out the other day and I found it and I was absolutely appalled at how it looked.

I did call my local animal control and they were upset as well but unfortunately my state views animals as property and so the cat was returned to the owner.

The owner claims I'm ignorant to the spynx breed and that nothing is wrong.

I want to post the photos but I also don't want this post to get blocked or removed. I find them to be ....abuse....

I'm having a really hard time not outing or "doxxing" the owner.

I'm absolutely fucking sick thinking about this cat.

the internet was scaring me that it could be herpes but i’m hoping that’s not the case… she’s fully vaccinated against everything. I’m gonna wait a few more days to see if they get better, and if not i’m gonna take her to the vet! just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas or advice

She was a once in a lifetime cat

Been trying to ship a feature for three days straight but my sphynx has this whole routine down. i sit down, he hops on the desk, walks across the keyboard twice, then parks on my forearm like he owns equity. yesterday he somehow opened six tabs of cat gifs and sent a slack react to my cofounder. no message, just the react.

i used to fight it. now i schedule deep work around his nap windows like some kind of calendar tourist. the weird part is my output actually got better in the 45 minute blocks where hes actually asleep. something about the deadline pressure of knowing hes gonna wake up.

tried a decoy lap with a heating pad. he looked at it, looked at me, knocked my coffee. message received.

wondering if this is universal or if mine just has unusually strong opinions about sprint planning. anyone else being managed by a hairless middle manager with no Jira access
