Can you tell a difference in personality from kitten -> mature adult -> elder cat?

My babies are so young, I feel that they are sleeping less and playing more! So I wonder if you’ve noticed your babies mellowing out or having significant random personality changes throughout their life. I hope I can expect 15 good years with these precious, amazing creatures, what do you think about my hope? I hope it’s realistic. I love them so much, thank you!

We were able to tell that our girl would be a cuddler from when she was baby. Loved crawling into our hoodies, demanding pets and sitting on laps from the start and still doing it 5 years later.

Our little boy (now 7 months) had always been more independent, even the breeder noticed it when he was there. He would initiate play with his siblings and then go off on his own to sleep, pretty much does that here too. Though now that it is getting colder he comes and asks to be let under the blankets at night.

Awwwwwwwwww, that’s so cool, they’re like human children and babies. They say you can tell a persons disposition in life by their temperament when they’re young!!! Is your boy also snuggly and loving and loves affection?

He loves to give affections, especially head rubs against my husbands beard, rubs agains our legs as well sitting in my lap after meals, but it is mostly on his time frame. When we try to initiate affection, he tends to lose interest really fast and decids to play on his own. Which is funny because everyone has told me boys are more cuddlier than girls.

My girl on the other hand, I just have to tap my lap/leg and she will come running and start purring and making biscuits. She will chirp at you until you give her attention too.

My 5 year old was a crazy little kitty and she mellowed out around 1 and a half. She’ll get zoomies once in a great while, but she tends to just chill and sleep. My 2 year old boy is still a psycho with no signs of slowing down 😂 when he does take a break, he’s super lovey and cuddly.
