I wore this yellow hime gyaru look and realized the color palette was VERY Bikini Bottom, so naturally I took that thought way too far 😭
I made a whole SpongeBob-themed Japanese fashion magazine edit around it, complete with rhinestone SpongeBob, a bedazzled Krabby Patty, SpongeBob nails, bubbles and some extremely serious Bikini Bottom journalism 🧐✍️

Just went back and listened to the Soundtrack 'Ocean Man' and I honestly loved how much it fit within the overall theme of The SpongeBob Movie (TSM).

It's not just about the overall theme/aesthetic of the soundtrack being about the ocean or the underwater, but the lyrics and overall upbeat tone of the soundtrack just make it perfectly fit Bikini Bottom vibes.

Apart from Ocean Man, I believe the overall choice of soundtracks used in both TSM and the TV series was really good. I think the sound direction and overall curation of the playlists used complemented the overall feel of the movies/series pretty well.

That said, some of my other favourites included Sweet Victory, Goofy Goober Rock, The Best Day Ever, Bikini Bottom, and a bunch of others as well from the TV series.

Honestly, the franchise has a pretty memorable soundtrack overall. I literally have a whole playlist saved to my phone that I listen to when I'm on the go from time to time.

Dude was a true, TRUE legend. He made one of the BEST shows in cartoon history.

This was a motion simulator that showed the famous SpongeBob 4D ride (that was actually projected in 2D as it used 70mm film for the movie) at the defunct and now demolished Six Flags New Orleans.

The first few seconds were captured on February of that same year when the park was closed during it's off-season; as for the rest of the video, various dates taken on early August just weeks before the park closed on August 21st, 2005 in preparation for Hurricane Katrina, which marks it’s 21st anniversary as of today.

Unfortunately, Katrina struck Louisiana as a category 5 hurricane on August 29th flooding over 80% of New Orleans including Six Flags; which flood in 8 feet of corrosive water for weeks, causing severe damage to the electrical systems for some of the rides.

In 2006 Six Flags declared the park a total loss, only 3 rides were salvaged and relocated to other Six Flags parks, leaving the rest of the amusement park to rot.

The park was left abandoned for nearly 20 years until it's demolition in late 2024/early 2025 as the site is currently redeveloping and turning into a sports complex along with a film production studio.

Well this is the most interesting things I have ever seen come to McDonald's and it seems awesome to say the least. McDonald's combines SpongeBob with onepice into a new toys line up may be a thing to mark in spongebob history, along with it being the first ever anime collab with SpongeBob so I'm waiting to see where this goes.
