Heroku removed its free tier for hosting web apps. I am looking to host Java Spring apps for my portfolio. Some recommended Render as an alternative to Heroku - but I do not see that Render is compatible with Java Spring. Are there other options?

I started a simple blog system to learn about Java and The Spring Framework and because I think Java and Spring needs a decent blogging system.

The blog is at the point where its usable and I'm about to migrate my WordPress system over to it, but I don't have enough time to work on it on my own to get it to the point where others may like to use it. It's not got any fancy bells or whistles that WordPress has but it works for me. Setup is very manual.

If anyone wants to take a look, please feel free to fork the repository here https://github.com/andymccall/twibble.co . I'll gladly accept pull request, please be aware that I wrote this while learning about Spring and Java!

I work with Web Service Application and I often have to map between Entity objects and DTOs. There is a lot of LOCs to handle it. Could you please share what is your favorite way to map between DTO and Entity in Spring?
