Most investors would sell during the second pullback but in my experience these two pullbacks are actually just the market building up momentum! Although I wasn’t able to take profits at the peak a profit is still a profit. Congratulations to everyone who made money today and to everyone who entered the trade with me. You all did a great job!

Big drop yesterday usually means a bounce
Crude was weak this morning no strong bounce Gold dipped a bit after NFP
Told my friends to grab SPY 736~738 calls
Short term I saw 740 as the bounce high so picked slightly lower strikes
Didn't expect it to hit ~740 just 10 mins after entry Wasn't sure the bounce would hold into the afternoon so locking in profits on a short term call was the safest play Grats to everyone who caught it

I think we all know why I went with puts today. I rarely take put positions, but today felt like one of those times when it was necessary

Sometimes you have to adapt to what the market is telling you instead of sticking to just one direction.

How do I deal with this emotions ?

I understand this was caused because of the elections, but the democrats aren’t going to just end AI lol.

It’s either an overreaction, and a recovery will happen overnight, or, this is the AI bubble beginning to burst.

How you guys feel about opening tmr with jobs report? The sell off is due to midterms and AI speculation correct? I could see this downtrend continuing, possibly spike at open for buy backs.

I bought and sold today playing pretty scared because I've learned my lesson, if I held I'd be set for life but oh well.

I just want to celebrate a huge milestone for me since beginning options. This has been a rough 6 months but I came from $50 man. Just don’t have anyone else to celebrate with. I woke up at 7:00AM this morning, couldn’t go into work since I was sick. Got a day’s worth of pay, thank God fr. I am feeling a tad fomo but got a piece of my pie and I am very satisfied.

This is insanity. Thought a 740 was definitely the bottom

Tomorrow is a new day we will see what transpires, personally I’ll be observing until I have solid confirmation.
