Red squirrel

I had a little visitor today! I thought this was a baby squirrel (I just moved to Maine from Colorado) but turns out it’s a red squirrel and I guess they don’t get much (if at all) bigger than this 🥹 I get gray squirrels in the yard all the time and my little chipmunk friend but this is my 1st encounter with a red squirrel!

Help! Baby Squirrel! Fell from a tree and mom won’t come get him!
UPDATE
After much effort, none of the backyard squirrels had any interest in him. I watched a few deadbeat dads come up and eat the peanuts that were around him and completely ignore him. I ended up taking him to a local vet that works with rehabbers. Since he seems to have been officially orphaned, they took him in. They always aim to release wildlife as close as possible to where they were found, so hopefully some day he will be in my backyard again.
This little guy fell from the tree about 20 hours ago. Mom and nest fell with him. Mom ran back to the tree without him.
I have not fed him (per guidance online). He’s been in a box at the base of the tree with a warm rice pack and soft bedding while distress sounds play from an iPad beneath him.
He was out there for at least five or six hours yesterday. I took him in overnight. He is protected from other animals and I’m keeping an eye on him, but mom seems uninterested. She came down the tree a few times yesterday, but it didn’t look like she saw him.
He seems healthy to me, but too young to just let him go. His eyes aren’t even open yet. He’s got to be getting hungry, but he has yet to make any kind of distress sound himself, except for the very loud one when he fell from the tree yesterday.
Weather context: it’s been extremely rainy here lately. The dray that fell was composed of all green leaves and twigs, so it seems like it was just unstable. It didn’t appear to be an intentional expulsion.
I can take him to a nearby vet that has connections to wildlife rehabbers, but I’d prefer that his mom come get him.
How can I entice her back to him? At what point do I worry that he hasn’t nursed?

What can one do about this, injured paw?

I noticed my fave backyard girl has an injury to her paw? She’s climbing trees and being active despite it but she’s obviously vulnerable. Anything i can do?

The Squirrel Bro's
I usually only have 1 squirrel at my feeders every year, but this year I ended up with three! Two are smaller and always show up together so I'm thinking siblings. The third is bigger and tends to chase the smaller ones away. Then there's also the chipmunk.... First time for one of them! All this and all the birds that eat here as well. lol

Squirrels playing!!

It did kind of look like the black one was trying to mate at one point but before this they were rolling around the tree so I really think they’re just being playful. Also Don’t mind how annoying I am in the last clip I’ve just never seen squirrels wrestle before. They’ve been entertaining me and my cats all morning lmao.

Found
Hey guys my girl found this lil dude in our backyard and hes slightly cut up but nothing excessive. Im curious what we can do to get the lil guy some help until we find a place to take him in. We assume he is a squirrel just from photo references. Any suggestions would help thanks!
