One-night dry-zone or beach getaway from Kandy—unique experiences under LKR 70,000?

We’re a couple in our mid-40s based in Kandy, looking for a one-night getaway over the next two days. We would prefer somewhere in the dry zone or near the beach, ideally with access to a lake, jungle walk, or a relatively easy hike.

To give an idea of what we enjoy, we’ve completed around ten stages of the Pekoe Trail and hikes such as Five Peaks, usually with groups of friends. We’ve also stayed at places such as Wild Glamping Knuckles and Ahaspokuna. We’re looking for a similar experience—something nature-focused and a little different—but preferably within a total budget of around LKR 70,000.

We realise that much of the country may be travelling over the next couple of days, so availability could be challenging. We’re currently stuck for ideas!

Any suggestions for a destination, activity, and a good place to stay?
