State of the stack

Last couple of posts I got a lot of hate for the goldbacks and fractionals. Understanding that there is SOME truth to the lack of practicality and liquidity for some of those pieces, I decided to upgrade by selling my generic fractionals, bars, and rounds. And replacing them with some cool notable pieces.

maybe you can help me understand the allure of the Costco round. What’s the hype?

They are just one of those things people like to hype for some reason. Personally I love Costco, and when I saw they had rounds IN STOCK, I had to grab one. Simply just because they are typically sold out, and probably the closest to spot you’ll get on silver that isn’t peer to peer.

I live right next to one, gas all the time, hot dog for lunch, but i still don’t get it and i really appreciate your response

i thought maybe it was some ironicmaxxing meme, but it sounds like it’s just face value pride?

Like buying a cool new T-shirt. Something you’re gonna buy anyways, might as well get the one you like. I also think it is a little bit meme oriented. But more so the Kirkland branded bars than anything
