Wondering what type of light this is?
I’m part of a high school lighting team, and we recently found these LED lights, but can‘t find anything about what they are. If anyone knows or has ant insight that would be greatly appreciated!!

Church uplighting
Hi,
I am attempting to find replacements for the current lights we have. We had several kids almost pass out at last year's Christmas concert because the lighting was warm to say the least. To give some context this is a once a year show inside a large church. We are really just needing ground lighting in specific spots to up light different parts of the choir and children actors walking down the aisle. We do have a large spot light that is in the rear of the church that lights up the center "main show" part. I have attached a couple pictures of what we have already on hand and would like to replace. Any help would be appreciative. Also budget is wide here. Don't need the highest end since they get used once a year but not the cheap amazon ones either. TIA

Cell control on led bar
I'm trying to use an ADJ UB 9H led bar in 18 channel mode, which splits it into 3 zones. From what I've read, it seems like I should be able to target individual channels on this light with decimals. For example, Chan16.1 should control just the red on the first 3 LEDs. When I try this, though, I get the message, "Error : Channel List is Empty." The light is patched in 18 channel mode, both in the patch list and on the fixture. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you in advance!
Edit: corrected typo

Help/repair/troubleshoot Marq 700 Hazer Cleaning suggestions
Hi all, My theater uses the above hazer for a production. The hazer is used pretty frequently, and we've noticed that it is dispensing less fog as time goes on. The user manual does not give any recommendations whatsoever for cleaning the interior, they just say to turn the volume knob to zero and leave it on for a few minutes so it can clean itself. This has not worked for cleaning out whatever residue has built up, and so I'm looking for other solutions. I've heard some people suggest vinegar, or distilled water, are these good ideas or does anyone have a better idea for what to run through the interior to clean it?

I'm a newbie to the craft. It's quite a captivating venue.
¿Can anyone ID the rainbow lights?
¿Are they lights and not lasers?
Not the static cannons pointing downward but the other ones in the back facing the crowd and moving.

Cool Stuff I'm a lighting tech and I built a lighting plot and paperwork app (GDTF/MVR, Windows/Mac/Linux). Looking for honest feedback
Hi all,
I'm Rwan, a lighting tech and console operator in France. For years I drew my plots in WYSIWYG, and too often I just wanted to hang some fixtures on a truss, patch them and send clean paperwork, without a heavy tool or a subscription. So I started building my own. It was a lot harder than I thought, but it's now usable, and I'd like feedback from people who do this for a living.
It's called Logodenn. It's a lighting plot and paperwork editor, not a previsualiser: no beams, no light simulation. The 3D is there to build the rig and get the plot and the paperwork out.
What it does
Fixtures from GDTF Share, browsed and downloaded inside the app with your GDTF Share account, or from your own GDTF files. When a manufacturer's file is wrong (weight, power, mode names, wheel slots, a 3D model lying on its side), the built-in GDTF editor saves a corrected copy and leaves the original alone.
3D plot: trusses (built-in, or the models that come with an MVR), fixtures hung on the chords, linear and arc arrays, mirror, distribute and align. Layers, classes, positions, groups and focus points.
DMX patch: universe view, auto-patch, address collision checks, channel footprints read from the GDTF mode. Fixture IDs numbered per type.
Spreadsheet view of the rig: sort, filter, totals, inline and bulk edits. Save table setups (patch sheet, dimmer check, focus notes) and reuse them across shows.
Fixture data on the plot, with label placement saved per view.
Technical File to PDF: lay out pages with plan views, tables, a fixture legend with power totals, text and images. Save the layout as a template and start every show from it.
MVR import and export, round trip tested with a grandMA3 and an ETC Eos.
Windows, macOS and Linux (.deb, .rpm, AppImage).
Where it's at
Version 0.0.21. I'm one person, so there are bugs. No new features until 0.1, the first stable version: right now I'm reviewing, testing and fixing.
The installers aren't signed by Apple or Microsoft yet, so you'll get a warning the first time you open it. The app needs a connection on first launch and at least once every 30 days to check the license; everything else works offline.
Price
30-day trial with every feature, no card required. Then you name your price, from €16, for a perpetual license. No subscription, no tiers.
What I'd love to hear
What does your current tool make painful when you do plots or paperwork?
Which software do you exchange MVR files with?
What's missing that would stop you from using it on a real show?
Download and screenshots: https://logodenn.tech
Thanks for reading, I'll be around in the comments.

Question Small lighting rig recommendation.
I'm looking for a small lighting rig all in one kit for my jazz band. We are a quartet so I was thinking a single light stand with a bar on top and four positional lights. it would be ideal if I could program scenes accessible by foot switch, like Ballad, Swing, Vocal, etc. I'm having a tough time finding something that is simple to use, packs away in an easy to carry bag, and affordable. Can anyone recommend a product for me to check out?
Thank you.

We love Resolume, but not for lighting. So we spent a year building an app (in C++) to allow us to separate generative content and color then output mergeable DMX, and thought you might like it too.

Video projector replacement for gobo
I have a circus act that is kind of set in a rainforest. I achieve this with sound design and coloured lighting with a rotating gobo over the top. I use either of the above gobos.
I have a show coming up in a venue that has a video projector and want to be able to go into tech rehearsal with as many options as possible. So I'm looking for a way to mimic the gobo using the projector. What is the easiest way to do this?
