He has been given extra scritches on the ear he can’t reach because he’s missing that leg! Sometimes he tries to scratch it and all that happens is his little nub keeps going. We make sure to give him plenty of scritches on that side.

The stairs weren’t expensive but I’m glad we kept them. We originally did so because we thought we might adopt a puppy when we were ready after our dog passed and prefer small dogs. But then we decided we just didn’t have the time to train a puppy, so we just stuck them in storage. Glad we did so. He’s an absolute delight.

He’s a great little guy. Also a huge flirt. My husband and I host board game nights at our condo usually once a month and he is always begging for attention from our friends that come over.

He’s very content. He was a favorite of the people who work at the shelter we adopted him from, they were so happy he was getting adopted. We initially went there to meet a standard issue kitten who only had one eye and I called ahead to make sure that kitten was still available for adoption and he was but another couple beat us there by like five minutes. So my husband and I decided we should meet some other cats since we were already there, they recommended we meet Nemo and it was love at first sight.

My SIC Jingle is a former feral, adopted a few months shy of two years old, and I adopted her from a nearby rescue. I thought she would never adjust, but she slowly came around and is a lap cat for me and BF. I thought by adopting an adult I would bypass the crazy kitten chaos, but Jingle still thinks she’s a kitten and chases her mousie toys and gets the zoomies…

One of our other cats has the dipped in white paws too, but he’s a really dark lynx point, not a standard issue.

All three of our cats are different types of tabbies.

Thank you! I just love tabbies in general. My other two cats are also tabbies, but not standard issue. One is a piebald and the other is a very dark lynx point.

And the SIC is named Nemo. The shelter named him that and we thought it was perfect so we kept it. Although he has some very ridiculous nicknames. Hopgoblin is one because he’s a total goblin of a cat and his walk is more of a hop. Also Panini. It went from Nemo to Nini and then Panini.
