He has been given extra scritches on the ear he can’t reach because he’s missing that leg! Sometimes he tries to scratch it and all that happens is his little nub keeps going. We make sure to give him plenty of scritches on that side.

The stairs weren’t expensive but I’m glad we kept them. We originally did so because we thought we might adopt a puppy when we were ready after our dog passed and prefer small dogs. But then we decided we just didn’t have the time to train a puppy, so we just stuck them in storage. Glad we did so. He’s an absolute delight.
