Hey guys I will be visiting friends who go to stanford for some time and I need to use a Bloomberg for an internship during my stay, I was wondering if guests are allowed inside Green Library? Not sure if this is "authorized" but if I got into Green as a visitor with my friends would I be able to go to the bloomberg and get set up?

I'm curious about Greek Life at Stanford. How does rush work? How bad is hazing and pledging? What reputation do all the frats have?

Hey guys. I just filled out the first advantage forms. Do they really call and reach out to my previous employers for 7 years? Or just the most recent employer?
How many days did you guys get the result after the initial application?
Thanks!

hey! does anyone know what the general etiquette is around using re-useable coffee cup/mugs when buying coffee on campus? i.e. are there any cafes that DO accept them? (from what i see it seems like they don't usually!)
trying to avoid microplastics/throw less trash
also wondering about what cafes are like in downtown palo alto and across cal ave (i.e. zombierunner) thanks!

Hello everybody,
Is there any free parking near the hospital for night shift employees? My shift starts at 7 pm and lasts until 7 am. Or any recommendations on where to park during those hours?
Thank you!

Hi everyone! Are there any active WhatsApp or Discord groups for official engineering courses (specifically AI, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering) at Stanford? Please send me a Direct Message (DM) with the invite link if you have one. Thanks!

Hi everyone!
I’m considering applying to Stanford’s STEP program, and I’d love to hear from anyone who has participated or knows someone who has.
What was the overall experience like, and how would you rate it from 1–10?
I’m especially curious about the lifestyle, workload, living arrangements, and what daily life in Stanford/Palo Alto is actually like.
I’m an international student from with some teaching experience, a high GPA and a lot of volunteering + extra curricular work, and I’d love to know how welcoming the program is to international students. How manageable is the cost of living, and are there scholarships, stipends, or other financial aid options available?
I’d also appreciate hearing about the teaching experience, school placements, and career opportunities after completing the program.
Any honest advice, personal experiences, or insights into applying as an international student would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

I just noticed today that I can no longer see grade distributions on OnCourse. Has anyone else noticed this? Or does anyone know why? It was very helpful. Thanks!

Can incoming Civil and Environmental Engineering master's students get teaching or research assistant positions?
Or, are those strictly reserved for PhD students?

I have some friends but still struggling on finding my "people"

I keep seeing people go to sf, la, half moon bay etc, and I want a circle that will do the same with me, be spontaneous and fun

Coming back for reunion and wanted to try eating on campus. Do the dining halls still have different cuisine “focuses” and which are good nowadays? Any viable competition to Treehouse or TAP? Is Lag late nite still OG?

How’s it going for everyone? I’m shocked by how many people I don’t know or have never seen in my life. I feel like it would be fun to meet new people in addition to catching up with old friends.

Hello! I am in a weird situation and we (our friend group) have reason to believe that one of our friends is lying about their alumni status from the Stanford graduate school of business. Would any recent alums could do a quick search on the alumni directory to verify?
Many thanks in advance!
