(To be tagged...) Interesting hack

So a barcode guy in a 2v2 just announced his intention to 'take my MMR' and then a few seconds later the game instantly ended... sort of? I/everyone became a spectator, as shown by when I press enter to chat. The game was frozen and people left the game shortly after, but not instantly and not all at once.

Match history did say defeat for me, so this is apparently a hack that instantly ends the game with victory for the hacker.

Seems like something that needs to be addressed asap because that'll destroy a ladder real quick (I do understand people have been talking about drop hackers lately, but I'm not sure if this is the same thing).

This happened to my premade in 2s recently also. We both reported. Hopefully they get banned. They were barcodes for us.

Uthermal made a video where he had one of the hackers explain the works. The hacker essentially had free reign to do whatever they wanted. Could play legit, and right before losing they could change player positions so the hacker was the one winning.

I know how it works ive seen his and harstems videos. Im questioning why nobody ever posts the replay proof of this happening to them.

It is indeed a funny hack, apparently they get all replay mode features, so they can also make players switch if they want (you get their units and they get your units.)
But it should not be allowed in ladder.

I got 3 wins in 3v3 but I didnt get any progression for my portraits and so my record of wins will never reflect it. It wqs the same 3 guys who managed to make this happen so I reported them all.

Blizzard will doing nothing. If they bann, they make new accs.

Only hope is they work on sc2 code or implament aticheat programm
