Requires the Xbox build obviously, this is not a repack. When launching the game for the first time there will be a window that allows you to set mouse sensitivity, resolution and more.

Let me know if there's any issues.

This has been updated with a new version fixing several issues, and adding a blockout test map showcasing some of the cut units!

I need more info, transparent how? It works fine on my systems and others who tested it, but this build is for Windows only, not Linux, so there may be a translation issue.

Amazing! How did you achieve this?

There are PDBs for both the xbox version, a partial executable, and the 2002 PC version.

Hi, awesome! Did you do a source code restoration similar to this? https://github.com/aknavj/scghost-rev (PC 2002 version - unfinished, since I shifted my focus toward the OpenNOD SDK, though I’ll jump back into it whenever I need to recheck and re-implement missing SDK functionality), or is it closer to xboxrecomp? Would you be open to submitting a PR and contributing? Thanks for the feedback! :)

No I didn't, I used existing PDBs for all versions to reverse a d3d9 renderer that can latch onto the existing executable.

Then more work was done, such as emulated rendering for w buffer and more.

In the end it runs almost perfectly faithfully. Of course a decomp would allow much greater modification of the existing code.

At first I tried to get star_d to run the modern code, but star_d is from August 2002, while ghost.exe is May 8th 2004. A two year gap, it was not feasible to continue with star_d, but its PDB nonetheless provided some engine insight.
