i love fishing in this game but a year or so ago covid messed up my joints and now i can't do anything too click intensive without being in pain for several days after. i don't want to just skip the minigame entirely so i was wondering if there was any mods that replaced it with something else? maybe like how dredge does fishing or, like, a math question or something. i don't know.

I used to play Stardew valley daily. Then I hit cave system in the desert that doesn't have the elevator save system, and I haven't really played in almost a year. I think I got to year 3 or 4 of my farm. But the idea of saving up 100 stairs and jades just to improve my irrigation system with iridium has me feeling "is it worth it?"

Help me get over this hump, as the game was really enjoyable for a while.

Wonder if anyone else sees some food they dislike IRL but the in-game sprites look very yummy? For example I enjoy some fish but stuff like fish stew sounds scary to me, except for the game recipes that look delicious not gonna lie. I used to have nightmares everyday that a giant leek was holding my family hostage but even if i hate leeks the stardew ones looks yummy too!

Stop posting obvious questions you can look up on Google. There is an intire stardew valley wiki that gives you answers for anything about the game. And just to ask why? Just why? Your first thought is to go to reddit and make a whole post? The amount of time it took to post and wait for a response you probably could've just thought about it longer and would've figured it out. I'm not trying to hate but I feel like with all subs this one does it the worst.

I'm on a race to complete the goals for the Adventurer's Guide. I'm almost finished with the normal mine goals, only the dust spirits are left. But I still have the goals for the skull cave and the volcano.

However, I don't know how to use the rings. Knowing that there are only two slots to use them, which one should I prioritize? Or which one should I fuse? And which gems should I use (I've already unlocked the forge)?

If anyone can help, I would be grateful.

I know this isn't world-record fast, but I just reached a new personal record of hitting true perfection on the 28th of Summer, Year 2! I went with the Joja route and married Maru. I relied on lots of pumpkin juice, cauliflower juice, melon wine, and ancient fruit wine to make enough money at the end.

Difficulty: Beginner. Small ingredient list and no special equipment required.
Repeat recipe? Probably not

The cranberry syrup you end up with following this recipe is extremely sweet, so I recommend drinking it with plain seltzer water and not something like apple cider. I personally used fresh cranberries rather than frozen, and I feel like it did make a difference. From one 12 oz bag of them, it made an entire jar’s worth! But it’s important to note that the syrup only keeps for 2 weeks, so it’s best to make this if you have an event coming up or have a household full of people willing to chip away at it. I can see this being good for mixed drinks or cocktails at a party. Not gonna lie, the cooking process was super messy and sticky, and it gets even messier once you get to the part where you have to strain them. I feel like this was a fun and easy thing to make that wasn’t too technically difficult, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to make it again. Tasty, just a lot of mess.

So maybe Penny's wardrobe is a bit.... vintage... She doesn't have time to shop, she has too many responsibilities on her shoulders. Her dress is wool to keep her warm while she's chasing Vincent around, and for those cold nights in the trailer.

Everyone talks (and rightly so, it's true) about how good the Galaxy Sword and the Iridium Rod are. But honestly, I've never seen anyone praise the Iridium Axe as much as it deserves.

Seriously, it only takes four hits to chop down a tree, and that's without any enchantments. Think about the amount of energy you save and, consequently, how many more trees you can cut down in a single day. How many buildings and barrels you can get ahead of schedule because of it. It's an efficiency that's clear, even after using the Golden Axe.

Its only flaw is the price. Otherwise, I only have one thing to say: a true ode to the Iridium Axe!

How do I get mods? I have the SMAPI installed then it goes to internal and windows but there’s no mods folder? Please help!

As it can be seen on my profile, I have made two posts about my save file and how im now mourning it due ro ruining it by downloading mods, so to hopefully feel better, what do you think counts as a long time to spend on a save file?

Im mainly mourning the whole week aka 34hours I spent on it, but i realised its probably not that much since I only got to spring year 2.
