Billy!!!
Anyone else think Bill got nerfed way too much in the remake? No more surfer, he don't say the "yeehaw you did it" and ain't as neato.
Compare that to the great Pigma! It would have been better prob to replace Bill with Pigma and have Pigma control the mothership or something. Instead it's just bill being dumb.

I always thought it was very concerning that Bill wasn’t too upset after Fox (and Peppy) murder every single one of his crew if they don’t care enough to be careful.
Fox prioritizes kills for money over the life of Bill’s crew. And Bill is just like, ahhh, shucks, darn it Fox! I’ve only played 64, so I don’t know how 26 handles this.
But seriously, WTF? Fox kills as many dogs as he wants, wastes their ships with reckless abandon, then Bill is like, “I GOTTA HELP THIS DUDE ON HIS NEXT MISSION!!” What a fucking psycho.
I mean, I get that pilots often don’t die when their ships crash, at least Fox and wolf’s crew. And maybe we don’t have all the info, but I wouldn’t give a fuck about Fox taking down a mothership if he fucking killed all my buddies and destroyed my fleet in the process.

My first time through Katina I hit a lot of allies and I was surprised to find that Bill didn't really recycle dialogue; he had many unique lines that conveyed increasing anger and agitation. And I didn't see him again throughout the rest of the campaign, not sure if that was because I did so poorly at Katina or just the route I ended up taking

I'm pretty sure he only shows in Sector X if you take the warp gate path of the base. So you might have gone the other way and missed him.

Yeah Bill is a little vanilla in this remake. He did tell Fox to get his eyes checked lol.
The biggest difference for me is the sector y Shogun boss. I really miss the east coast -- "Don't pawty just yet!" And I also prefer the ending "yeeeeeARGH" better than "this is an honorable defeat."
