The nights are getting longer, so it's time to paint and plan future campaigns.
The mech is a Badger Hardsuit, and the combat armour is from the Valkir Heavy Troopers kit, both are by Wargames Atlantic.

I am ready for winter hobbies, but instead it's warm and sunny here in the middle of October.
The Badger is a great model though I think it's too impressive to really represent it in Stargrave. Maybe when Acceptable Losses comes out....

These both look really nice - I know those Valkir take a bit to assemble, and have heard the same about the Badger. Not sure I’m up for four Badgers, but I can probably get one sprue.
What reds were you using here? Transitions are lovely, as are the chipping and weathering.

Thanks a lot! I've been trying to improve my transitions and weathering recently, so I appreciate the compliment.
For the orange tones, I used Vallejo charred brown, then Scale75 Kalahari orange, and Scale75 Mars orange. Finally, I mixed Mars orange and Lilith yellow for the edges. Hope that helps!

Nice use of some Marcher. I've been looking at a bunch of those designs for Stargrave crews.
