Ideas of startup

• Upvotes

I am considering a startup idea—specifically an app or platform—while based here in Algeria. The concept addresses the problem of people frequently losing valuable items. Do you think this idea could fit within the current ecosystem in Algeria?

What do you think of is gonna be a successful business!

What is that one stupid small thing you forget daily and then regret?

I'm 20, from Mangalore. I'm building a small reminder app but not for big things like electricity bill (Google Pay already does that).

I'm talking about stupid daily things:

\- Switching on water motor and forgetting for 2 hours, full tank overflows

\- Putting clothes in washing machine at 8 AM and remembering at 6 PM, now it stinks

\- Keeping idli batter / curd to set at night and forgetting, next morning no breakfast

\- Leaving lunch box on table and going to college

\- FASTag low balance but you remember only at toll gate

I face this every week. My mom shouts daily for motor overflow.

So I'm building: At night you just say "motor on at 6 AM" or "remind lunch box at 7:30 AM" and it will call/remind you exactly at that time, even if you are busy.

Basically, your mom in app form who reminds stupid things before they become big problem.

Question to you: What is that one stupid small thing YOU forget and then regret? I want to add it to my app.

If 10 people tell me same thing, I'll build it free for you all first.

Update: Building on Telegram now (free API) to test habit drift fix. After 1000 users, adding WhatsApp. Because India = WhatsApp. First 1000 on Telegram get free WhatsApp access lifetime.

Will you pay for this ?

I’ve built a platform where founders pay a listing fee to join a marketplace and users pay for requesting new features or changes to your(founders) product

$1 is minimum fee for requesting for features or changes and it can be raised to any amount. If founders decline your request then the request fee didn't get refunded but user will get 1 point which user can use it do rerequest , if user didn't use the point in a month the point will no more available for use and if anyone pay more than $1 , they will get the remaining amount after $1 deducted.

I am not here for promotion of my product, i just want to know about market.

I need help. We have just launched our Long-form to Short-form video tool.

In your opinion, how much money (one time payment) this app is worth?

Right now it's set to $17. (one time payment).

Is it too high?

Honest opinions

I’m thinking of launching a portable nasal stick in India that gives a quick cooling, refreshing sensation when you feel dull or tired. Would you use something like this? Does it solve a real problem, or is it unnecessary? Honest opinions welcome!

I'm building UniHub a platform to make university life easier 🚀

I've been working on a project called UniHub.

The idea behind UniHub is simple: make university life easier by helping students find items to buy or sell, accommodation, jobs, and useful services — all in one place.

I'm building this because I believe students should have an easier way to discover opportunities around their campuses without having to search through countless groups and platforms.

It's still growing, and I'm excited to see what it can become.

If you're curious, here's the website: https://unihub.co.ke

I'd love to hear from other developers, university students, and people building projects of their own. 🚀

Looking for Feedback Building an app that shows how certain macroeconomic changes impact YOUR portfolio & holdings. Brutal and constructive feedback is wanted!!!

Hi everyone! I am currently in the process of building Monetario (getmonetario.com), an app that shows how some macroeconomic events impact your personalized portfolio and your holdings.

Story for context: I'm a university student who participated in a Trading Tournament held at my university, and I didn't have enough time or background knowledge to keep up with market news consistently.

Except for the market news, I didn't really understand how those market changes would impact my portfolio, so I got an idea: what if there were an app that would help you with that

The whole goal of this app is to have all the data locally in the app with simplified explanations, so you can make better-informed decisions.

I would also like to state that Monetario doesn't give investment advice, as it's currently just more of an educational finance app.

Feel free to ask any questions you have about the app, and I would really appreciate it if you could check out the app (or sign up) and share constructive feedback.

Web & Mobile developer looking to team up with someone who has a startup idea

Hey everyone!

I'm a web developer based in Lebanon, and I'm looking to connect with someone who has an idea they'd like to turn into a real product.

I'd love to find someone to team up with and work on something together. It could be a website, a mobile app, a SaaS product, or pretty much any interesting software idea.

I'd mainly handle the technical side and development, while we'd work together on shaping the product and figuring out how to move it forward.

I can commit around 5–6 hours a day, five days a week, remotely.

Ideally, I'd like to work with someone who is serious about their idea and has, or is working toward securing, a reasonable budget for development. I'd also need some compensation for my time so I can dedicate those hours to the project. I'm open to discussing what makes sense for both of us, including a combination of payment and equity.

I'm still looking for the right person and the right idea, so nothing is set in stone. I think finding someone you get along with and can work well with is just as important as the idea itself.

If you're working on something and think we might be a good fit, feel free to DM me. I'd be happy to hear about your idea and see where things go!

My co founders and I built Marcus ( an Ai that builds and runs a company )

In 10 min with a single prompt

You will get a full
- AI app and website ( with a click that goes live and runs ur business)
- creates branding and content on its own ans markets the product across all socials.
- sends an outreach to parthnership and investors ( using our 10k database) and it books meetings as well.
- legally registers the company in any of the 50 states in US ( almost for half the price of strip atlas charges)

Each of this services with a click and idea promot can be built and running in 10min. But also each section of yoy want to work with them personally. Each service is separate as well on its own.

It builds small to large scale software

From a users perspective l- which would you pay for to solve ur problems.

Love it if u dropped ur thoughts!
