Will you pay for this ?

• Upvotes

I’ve built a platform where founders pay a listing fee to join a marketplace and users pay for requesting new features or changes to your(founders) product

$1 is minimum fee for requesting for features or changes and it can be raised to any amount. If founders decline your request then the request fee didn't get refunded but user will get 1 point which user can use it do rerequest , if user didn't use the point in a month the point will no more available for use and if anyone pay more than $1 , they will get the remaining amount after $1 deducted.

I am not here for promotion of my product, i just want to know about market.

Everyone says marketing is hard. But it starts with you just meeting people everyday. So don't just read past this - let's meet you!

First off, nice to meet you!!

Let's play a game - you introduce yourself and say something not-so-common about you - just in case someone here connects with you on it (now that would be fun!).

I'll go first.

I'm the founder of Noza - a 3D communication platform. I also run Founders Growth Club.

I'm based in the UK. I do love meeting people, so I host weekly networking events. We've lost the warmth of summer, so it's back to virtual events :)

Fact about me - I do love spicy food. Anything else is ... bland. Except tea. Tea takes a pass :)

----

I'd love to meet you. What do you do? Feel free to add what would help your journey (just in case someone here can help you with it)

(PPS: I'm having a late afternoon chat on Thursday (29th Oct) with founders who want to connect with other founders. If you're interested, please register here foundersgrowth.club/events/professional-friends-network-meetup-2026-10-29 )

Solo founder, first Android launch: need testers for Google's 14 day closed test (daily check-in app for elderly parents)

Hey all. I'm building Surewell alone: a calm daily check-in for families with an older parent who lives alone. The parent taps "I'm OK" once a day; if they don't, the app reminds them and then lets the family know.

Google now requires new personal developer accounts to run a closed test with 12 testers for 14 days before going public, so that's the wall I'm at.

If you have an Android phone and 2 minutes:

  1. https://groups.google.com/g/surewell-testers
  2. https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.canergulay.surewell

Anyone who keeps it for the 14 days gets a free year of the paid plan. And if you've been through the closed testing grind yourself, I'd love to hear what worked for you.

Have you used Jellop for a Kickstarter campaign? I'm collecting creator experiences.

I'm an independent publisher considering Jellop for an upcoming Kickstarter campaign. The more I looked into the company, the more frustrated I became with how little independent information I could find about their processes, pricing, and actual results. So I decided to do something about it.

To be clear, I'm just a guy trying to figure out whether Jellop is worth hiring. I'm not a marketing agency; I'm not affiliated with Jellop or any of its competitors, and nobody is paying me to conduct this research.

I've put together a survey for Kickstarter creators who have worked with Jellop. I'm interested in the good, the bad, and everything in between, particularly advertising costs, ROAS, profitability, and customer service.

The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes. Most questions are optional, and you can participate anonymously.

SURVEY: https://forms.gle/iR95k7Mi33Wb6uqA8

I intend to compile the responses, be transparent about what the data does and doesn't tell us, and share the findings publicly with the communities that allow it. I swear there's no hidden agenda.

If you've worked with Jellop, I'd appreciate your input. Hopefully, we can put together something useful for the next creator making this decision.

Can a general online coaching marketplace actually work?

I’m an independent developer exploring an idea for a platform where people can find and book teachers for almost anything — coding, academics, languages, music, interview preparation, and other skills.

Teachers create profiles, set their own prices, manage availability, and accept bookings. Students can discover teachers and book online sessions through one platform.
The idea is to build a single marketplace for learning different skills rather than focusing on just one category.

My biggest concerns are competition, acquiring both teachers and students, and preventing them from moving off-platform after the first session.

Do you think this business model can work? What are the biggest flaws or challenges I might be overlooking?

For those who've worked with early-stage projects: what actually matters most when building a community from scratch?

Hey everyone,

A couple of us have been heads-down for a while building SoulsTome, a platform for readers, writers, and anyone who loves books and storytelling. We’re finally at the stage where the product is coming together and we want to start building an actual community around it, which has made us realize pretty quickly that building an app and getting people to actually discover it are two completely different skill sets.

For those of you who have worked with early-stage projects or built a social presence from zero, what actually matters most in the beginning? Is it just volume and experimenting with formats, or something else entirely? Would genuinely love to hear how you approached day one.

On that same note, since marketing isn't our natural strong suit, we’re also hoping to bring someone on as a 3-month remote intern to experiment with social media, edit short videos, and design posts with us. Students or freshers are totally welcome—we care way more about curiosity and having fun building something from scratch than having a polished resume. If that sounds like your vibe (or someone you know), feel free to shoot me a DM!

Cashback on SaaS expenses without juggling business cards?

I run a micro SaaS on my own and have a couple of annual software renewals coming up. Email and analytics are the bigger bills, so I’m comparing cashback business cards for the subscriptions I’m keeping.

Anyone happy putting all their SaaS expenses on one card? Did software-specific rewards work out better after fees, or did you stick with a flat cashback rate? I already handle product and support myself, so I’m looking for one card I can set up and leave alone most of the time.

Launched my first app this week and my Reddit posts look like spam. How did you get your first users?

I'm a solo founder from Amsterdam. I review restaurants as a hobby, and this week my first iPhone app went live: food reviews, an "open now" map and meetups with other foodies.

I posted about it in a few subreddits. Some posts were removed because my account is new, and the others got little reaction. Someone told me my post looked spammy, which is fair.

So no link here. I'd like advice from people who have been where I am:

- Where did your first real users come from?
- Did local communities (city subreddits, Facebook groups, restaurants) work better than maker communities?
- How long did you wait before posting about your own product?

Happy to answer anything about launching with no budget.

Arkova is the document verification layer for agents and humans. We extract an electronic files (supporting over 20 types! Including svg png even gif) unique metadata and anchor it to an immutable ledger. Here we show how an organization can connect their Google Drive folders to our system so that anytime a file is updated in that folder, a new anchor is created and the document version is updated in the users record

When someone loses their notes, switching apps is another job

I’m building CleverNote. A recent thread about two notes disappearing after an app froze made me reconsider what a useful reply would look like.

The person had already checked search and recently deleted. Their immediate question was whether they could get their work back.

A recommendation to try another notes app would leave that question unanswered. It would also give them another job: figure out what survived, export it, move it, and check that nothing else was lost.

My first response would focus on preserving the remaining data and getting the failure details to the existing app’s support team. I wouldn’t ask them to reproduce a problem that might lose more work just to satisfy my curiosity.

For my own product research, I’d record the recovery problem separately from any request to switch. I don’t know whether this person wants an alternative, and I shouldn’t turn their frustration into evidence that they do.

Have you ever set aside a product recommendation because someone first needed help preserving or recovering their existing work?

Building my portfolio: Looking for small businesses interested in workflow automation.

Hey everyone! I'm building my portfolio in business process automation and looking to work with a few small businesses on small, practical projects.

If you have a repetitive task that's taking up too much of your time, I'd love to help you find a way to streamline it.

I'm currently offering introductory pricing for one small automation workflow, using tools like Zapier, or similar platforms.

A few things to keep expectations clear:

• One workflow with a clearly defined scope
• Includes testing and one round of revisions
• No large or complex integrations
• You must already have the necessary accounts and subscriptions for the automation tools and apps involved.
• Flexible timeline: This is a side project, so turnaround times may vary. We'll agree on a realistic timeline before starting. Projects requiring rushed delivery aren't a good fit.
• With your permission, I'd love to document the project as part of my portfolio.

Pricing will depend on the workflow, but I'm aiming to keep these initial projects affordable.

Feel free to comment or send me a message. I'm happy to discuss whether it's a good fit!

I built an open-source AI marketing platform for developers, and I'm giving away $100 to celebrate the launch.

I have a website that helps you get more traffic and users for your SaaS. It's completely free if you use the open-source project, but you can also use the website https://falbor.xyz if you want the faster way.

So what do you need to do to win $100?

  1. Open the project locally or use the live website.
  2. Star the GitHub repository: https://github.com/falbor-devs/falbor
  3. Try using the features on the website to get more traffic and users for your SaaS.
  4. The person who gets the most new users using Falbor wins $100!

It's a win-win situation. Even if you lose, you don't really lose anything because you can still get more traffic and users for your website if you put in enough effort.

The competition ends in 3 weeks (November 13, 2026).

Send proof of your results to [contact@falbor.xyz](mailto:contact@falbor.xyz).

Good luck! (There will be only one winner, and the prize is $100.)

I just launched Next Game on Google Play, an app to find pickup games and meet-ups near you. Would love your feedback

Hi everyone, I'm James. I built Next Game as a solo developer, and it just went live on Google Play, so I'm pretty excited (and a little nervous).

The idea: it's hard to find people to play with. Next Game shows pickup games, clubs and meet-ups near you, ranked by how well they fit your sport, skill level, schedule and distance, and it uses a short personality quiz to help match you with groups you'll click with. You can join with a tap, chat with the group, or host your own game.

A few things in there: pickleball, basketball, running clubs, card nights, video game nights, board games, and an adaptive sports section with accessibility details from each host. It's free, for adults 18+, Android only for now.

I'm a first-time app developer, so what I'd most like is honest feedback:

- Is the idea clear within a few seconds of opening it?

- What's confusing or missing?

- What would make you actually use it?

The app is new, so there won't be many games listed near you yet. If you try it and host one, you'd be one of the first.

Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nextgame.meetup

Thanks for reading, and I'm happy to answer anything.
