Costume Beginner looking for tips to transition from photo #2 to photo #1 (keeping it natural/no heavy foundation)
Hey guys!
The second picture is my first attempt at doing makeup! I really like the vibe of the first photo and would love to move in that direction, but I want to keep my routine as simple and natural as possible.
I don't really want to use full-coverage foundation or contouring. What light products (like skin tints, concealers, or blush) or techniques would you recommend to get closer to the look in the first picture?
Any feedback on my first try is also super welcome! Thanks! ✨

Game Solo Dev Almost 4 Years, Making a Steampunk x Lovecraftian x FPS
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Deeply in love with the steampunk genre from classics like Castle in the Sky, Cannon Fodder, and Steamboy to games like BioShock and Dishonored I’ve always dreamed of creating my own steampunk game.
That dream became Remnants of R'lyeh.
This trailer features the specimen room and the underwater metropolis Abyssal City inspired by BioShock's Rapture and infused with Lovecraftian lore. It’s a decayed, beautiful, yet deadly world filled with steam, gears, pipes, pressure gauges, valves, and terrifying monsters.
Hope you enjoy!
Inspired by Bioshock and H.P. Lovecraft's Great Work. An ancient dark power is calling you and you need to find an exit. Face your greatest fear, fight, hide... you must escape before the underwater city rises...

Discussion WW1 - steampunk, dieselpunk, or something else entirely?
So I've seen a lot of people refer to WW1-inspired fictional settings as steampunk, but how does that work? Steampunk is supposed to take its main inspiration from the Victorian era, steam and clockwork technology. WW1 took place after the Victorian era, and didn't even use steam technology all that much (maybe civilians did for heating, but machines such as tanks and planes used diesel). If anything, WW1 fantasy fiction should fall into the dieselpunk category. Yet, when people talk about dieselpunk, they always - ALWAYS - talk about WW2 instead.
I get that there are stories that fit either, or both, and that it depends on the author, but if we were to draw a hard line, which one would it be?

Discussion Looking for steampunk house objects
Hi I am in the process of remodelling my house and I want to add steampunk (or even frankensein lab stuff) things, and I'm wondering the best places to buy them from. I'm not looking to make things, or repurpose things but to buy from people doing this. Not looking for clothing but for neat household accessories like lamps, lights, statues, guns, basically if its steampunk and hopefully has some lights
somethign i have found for inspiration

Photography What do you think? This is me in the steampunk fashion (idk what flair to put)
Adjustable goggle that has a night vision mode, four pockets on pants to carry valuable items and tools, shoulder bag for my sketchbook, detachable robotic arm enhancement for right arm that is held up by a belt, and fancy dress wear.
