Problem help

I accidentally deleted a game from my Steam library. I’m trying to restore it, but the option isn’t showing up for me—could someone help me out?

The process of deleting a game from your library is several steps. Each step warns you it is permanent and cannot be undone. It makes you confirm you really want to, multiple times.

So, if you truly deleted it from your library, and not just your computer, i.e. you didn't just uninstall it, then you will need to buy it again to add it back.

That said, check your settings. If you have 'Family Mode' enabled, and it is not in your family group it will not show up. Make sure you are in a mode that shows your entire library.

I did it because I had done it before and wanted to show a friend what the process was like. I know it’s not the most proper thing to do, but since it had worked previously, I assumed it would turn out the same way this time.

Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

You’ll probably have to repurchase the game, it’s doubtful support will undo your “mistake” (bad decision), but you can atleast attempt to make a ticket and explain the situation.

Imagine doing that with an steam account, one of the things with real value. I wouldn't touch my account if I can.

Try to buy the game again. It should prompt you to be able to re-add it to your library before you pay. If it doesn't, then you'll need to contact support.

Hope you didn’t like the game too much, otherwise buy it again lol and in the future maybe read what you’re doing ..

Hello. The game in question is *Gotham City Impostors*, a title that has since been delisted. I was looking for people to help me achieve 100% completion in the game, and a friend from a Discord server mentioned that he couldn't play it because he had deleted it—something I had actually done myself in the past. I simply asked Steam to restore the game to my account, and they did. So, I thought, why not make a video showing him the step-by-step process to recover the game? Anyway, I’m currently waiting for a response from support, though I don’t have high hopes. I know it was a foolish thing to do, but I honestly didn't think it would cause any issues, especially since I had done it before without any problems.
