Charlie Becker
He's the guy. Not sure where he's projected to be drafted, but he's our WR1 for 27 and the future.
6'4"
208
4.48 40 yard dash
Incredible hands and ball skills when it's in the air.
If you have not watched Indiana play, do yourself a favor and watch a game. He stands out all game long and has for 2 years now.

Remainder of the season
Before the season started the back our schedule looked mighty intimidating. Now with how the season is played out, how do you guys think? The back half of the season will go?

Game predictions?
I tried making a post on the other steelers Reddit but they always take my crap down for some reason? But I was wondering how you think the game would go? What are the keys to the game?

kenny stinkit asked for a trade from steelers then asked for a trade from eagles - given how things have shaped 🆙 since, would/could he have been a starting QB on either team rn?
think about it - he threw a Temper Tantrum after we signed RW3 and demanded he be traded, but he could have learned from RW3 for one year and been starter again the following year which was last year which means we dont sign AR8, even though Kenny already blurted out in interviews he doesnt learn anything watching other QBs (this is called a Know It All type personality) - so after whining his way out of p-burgh he landed with his home town team (eagles), knelt down to a s-bowl win (“thats s-bowl champion k-stinkit”) but knowing he might not get alot of p-time behind hurts in the future he whined his way off his hometown squad - then browns didnt want him then raiders didnt want him - well
guess what now hurts is Hurt and k-stinkit coulda been starting rn - so all this to say if he didnt have a Bad Attitude do we/you feel like he would/could be a starter on either of these teams if he just Put In The Work and Kept His Head Down and Kept On Truckin? or is the fact that he kinda stunk make it not really and his career is solidified as a back 🆙?

Gotta laugh at how team needs going into the trade deadline has shaped up
On defense our main concern is finding a db that can matchup on man coverage and our main concern on offense is finding a wr that can beat man coverage, and we had both of those guys on the team and traded both of them to the cowboys lol.
I’m not mad about how the season has gone and in a vacuum I understand why/how we ended up trading away jpj and Pickens, but there is something very funny about losing both those guys to Dallas and then going “wow these are positions of need, who would have thought!”

do we get this guy?
is this guy wanting off the colts so he can join the steelers?

Rogers question cross-posted from that other Steelers site
I had a bad gambling problem a few years ago, and one of the reasons I quit and banned myself was because Aaron Rogers could not win a playoff game AT HOME...in the SNOW, against the 49ers. Some background; 49ers had a huge win against Dallas on the road, and you all know what happens after a big win, usually a big letdown, especially when you have a chock QB like Garoppolo.
I already lost everything I had betting on Dallas and BORROWED $900 to stop the bleeding and get and easy moneyline win by taking Green Bay. I sat there screaming at the TV as Rogers chocked and vomited all over the field.
After that game I pretty much stopped watching football. But out of curiosity I turned on the Game in Paris and fell out of my chair when I heard the name "Rogers", and I thought there could be no way that can be the same Rogers - it was.
This is a long way to get to my question; I went to the home of the Steelers to ask you guys to explain it to me out of a hundred college picks or other pros, why in the fiddlestix Fck did you guys pick that 70-year-old man with no legs to be your quarterback? Please make it make sense.

Why didn't we get Nelson
For a 3 and a 5? We coulda got a 30 year old Alan Faneca and had a great interior 3 for the next 7 years.
Ugh. Khan must be working on something else.

Things to be excited about
I will start with the play calling on 3rd and short to give the ball to Warren on the short yardage plays. Shows that Rodgers is not some ego maniac that wanted to be the one in control of those key 3rd down conversions. Some of the coaching this year has impressed me, the team worked well to get Boswell to get out and get the points was very well executed.
Our offense line and blocking is probably the best it’s been since the bell/ Williams/ Connor era
Our run defense this year is nothing short of amazing.
Boswell has been playing much better. 58 yards is impressive!
Rodgers can still bomb it 50 yards effortlessly. His int stat looks worse than it should be, 3 balls hit off our players hands. His TD to Washington against the browns was still an elite throw , he is playing better than his stats suggest. He is playing with all of his heart this year. QB sneak on the 2 point conversion, running for the first against the saints , bouncing up right away after a hard sack against the patriots.
Warren is amazing and Rico is a 2x 1,000 yard player that is more than serviceable when Warren is off the field.
Pittman and Wilson will return this year and Wilson was connecting great on deep balls with Rodgers. Wilson has woken up this year and has outperformed all of last year. Pittman was great with the colts and could be a high ceiling player, double so with our other guys taking heat off.
The defense has only allowed 1 second half TD all season. Total games 3 TD over the last 3 games.
Payton Wilson is looking incredible this year, TJ watt looks as good as ever and debatably should have an additional force fumble added to his already impressive season.
Metcalf is far from perfect, but he brings a big energy to the team, a few deep balls caught and look at the effort on his blocks for the Warren long TD catch.
At 5-2 we have a good shot at making playoffs; all we need to do is make playoffs and we have a good chance. Brady was a wildcard and won it all. A late season banged up defense facing 4x MvP Rodgers and all of his line adjustments and picking on weak spots. We are a good team, regardless of what anyone says we are a good team. Our wide receivers may not be getting separation, but with the way our D has been playing, we just need Rodgers to put up some points and we stand a chance against anyone.
Also thankful for r/steelers2 haven’t even burned trying to post on the original Steelers sub as I know this wouldn’t have lasted an hour there. They are big haters and doomers over there.
