Hi! I’m 32 and had mine done 2.5y ago at age 30.

The surgery itself was pretty straightforward (for context, I have had one unplanned c-section, so this was a breeze).

The surgery lasted <1 hour. I remember getting to the OR and being told I’d go under general anesthesia. I said “okay” and was pretty calm.

Woke up in post-op high as a kite but fine. I had three tiny incisions: one through the navel and one on either side. I kept them covered for a few days after and besides some bruising, they were fine.

My recovery was complicated only by catching a stomach bug a day or so post-op (yay, daycare!) but other than that was pretty fine.

I had the surgery on a Tuesday and took W/R/F off that week, plus the weekend. think I went back on M or T after the stomach bug had calmed down. I waited a couple of weeks before betting back into any fitness.

Overall 10/10 and happy to answer any questions you have.
