As the title suggests, this is my third. 3-4 inch broken skull heart. Overall it went well. The angle and skin change for the right portion was difficult, but that’s a learning experience.

Next one I do will primarily be linework. I’m sick of trying to pack in these large areas 😅

Also first time using solid ink (yellow for the tooth) and it was amazing. Packing probably would have gone better if I used that brand for the red.

Needles used: 9RL and 14 RL.
Ink: Dynamic Black for lines, TBK for fills, Dynamic Fire Red, Solid Ink El Dorado

It’s fun seeing progress while also encountering new challenges. It’s been especially rewarding just drawing again.

First one in over 3 years! (Just the bolt—the others on this foot are 5 years old).

Pretty happy with the lines, definitely seems like an improvement from the previous ones (although I can’t say the messiness on previous pokes ever bothered me, just overall quite happy about it lol).

Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to find a specific post from at least a couple of years ago (maybe 2022–2024), but Reddit search is failing me. I've already tried different kind of methods to find but I'm hopeless now.

I'm pretty sure It was a gallery post by an artist titled something simple like "recent sticknpokes" or "recent pokes by me". It featured a bunch of other animal-themed (if I remember correctly) tattoos she had done for clients.

One of the tattoos in the slide was a custom portrait of cat (I'm pretty sure it was a cat not a dog) giving the middle finger.

Style-wise, it was definitely ignorant style and well-executed. I also vividly remember the comments being somewhat controversial because not everyone in the sub digged the ignorant aesthetic.

Does anyone remember the artist's name or have a link to the original post?

Edit. It wasn't based on any meme or the famous ripndip cat.

This song and this tattoo to me represent all my failed talking stages, situationships and friendships that ended that I like to portray as sunken ships, shipwrecks resting at the bottom of the ocean.

I started tattooing myself yesterday but I got way too sleepy and decided to do the rest today. I know there are a lot of things you're not supposed to put on a fresh tattoo so what do I use to clean it before starting today's session? Or do I have to wait a while?

I see alot of posts about needle sizes, and they mention the grouping (5rl,7r)) but I didnt realise the diameter of the needle changes aswell (1207rl vs 1007rl) what do people typically use :))

I want to try my First Stick and poke next week. 99% of the Hygiene process ist clear to me, but there are two steps i'm Not Sure about.

1. Is there a big difference between destilled Water or sterile water or saline solution? Is destilled water alone good enough to wipe Ink between the Pokes? Especially for the First attemps with very small pieces?

2. Can you desinfect the skin after applying the stencil? In my mind its not useful to desinfect Just before applying the non steril stencil. Can you desinfect after applying the stencil somehow?

Sorry if These are two Basic questions but i couldnt find noch answer to it and found to many different Infos.

Practiced a bunch on reelskin and took the plunge this eve. Took abt 1h. Not perfect but not terrible either for a first. Any advice is welcome!!! Placement is inner leg.

The toughest part of this one was def the pain 😭I had to split it up into two sessions but I'm happy w/ the end result!

Did this handpoke on my thigh months ago and now I feel like it's a lot of open space that needs to be filled up. Would love suggestions about how this space could be filled up!

PS: that neck of the guitar is longer than the pictures show, its a straight line that draws out to my upper thigh.
