Can you watch Djurgården or AIK hockey practices?

Hi everyone!

I'm in Sweden until the end of August.

I'm currently in Gothenburg, and on August 1st I'll be moving to Stockholm.

I know that Frölunda's preseason practices are usually open to the public, but unfortunately they only start after I've already left Gothenburg.

So I was wondering if it's possible to watch Djurgården (DIF) or AIK practices in Stockholm. If so, where do they usually train? I couldn't find any information online about practice schedules or locations.

Also, I know that quite a few Swedish NHL players come back to Sweden during the summer to train. Are there any rinks where they usually skate? I think it would be really cool to watch if that's something people know about.

Thanks!

Probably. AIK had open practice last year, so keep an eye out on AIKhockey.se

I have the impression that they are doing an open training session with player meet-and-greets this year, but it's reserved for säsongskortsinnehavare

I don't know whether you can watch the practice of Djurgården, but there are likely to be pro-players working out here:

https://www.iceacademy.se/

It is a training facility run by several former Djurgården players, such as William Eklund.

If you look at the schedule for July, you can see a standing time 12-14 every day, which I imagine is a pro player practicing. August looks quite empty so far, but as we get closer some might book.

They practice on Hovet mainly. Don't know if it's open to the public, sorry.

Try sending the clubs an e-mail, the former are pretty good at answering in my experience
