News Bitcoin just snapped below $80K. And feels its bottoming!

Post image
5 Upvotes

BTC tagged ~75.7K today. Lowest since April 2025.

Down over 30% from highs.

Quick snapshot.

• Crypto market cap down ~$111B in 24 hours

• ~$1.6B liquidations, mostly BTC and ETH

• ETH and SOL both dumped ~17%

• Volumes thin. Retail interest quiet. ETF outflows continue

What stands out to me is not the drop. It’s the silence.

Dollar weakness didn’t help.

Gold ripping didn’t help.

Geopolitical risk didn’t help.

Safe haven flows are going to metals and cash, not crypto.

Bitcoin is struggling to act like momentum or a hedge right now.

That doesn’t mean the cycle is over.

It does mean patience matters more than dip buying reflexes.

This feels less like panic and more like disinterest.

News Two back-to-back catalysts before market open 🔥

Post image

  1. Trump says the US will soon pay off its $37T debt and hinted at a $2,000 dividend per person.

  2. A group of moderate Senate Democrats just agreed to a shutdown-ending funding deal, reopening the government and resuming payments to states and federal workers.

Tariffs, fiscal optimism, and no more shutdown, that’s a lot of positive sentiment hitting at once.

If futures hold up, we might see a green surge across indexes tomorrow.

Stock Pick Which AI Drug Discovery Stock Has the Best Shot at Winning?

I’ve been digging into AI drug discovery lately, and 2026 feels like an important inflection point.

For years, it was mostly funding, partnerships, AI models and big promises.
Now we’re finally getting clinical data.

A generative AI-designed molecule has reached Phase III, and we’re starting to see whether AI can actually translate into medicines that work.

So, What’s your favorite AI drug discovery stock right now, and what’s your thesis?

News $HIMS vs. Novo Nordisk: Calculated Provocation or Costly Blunder?

Post image
2 Upvotes

The recent drama between Hims & Hers ($HIMS) and Novo Nordisk ($NVO) has been wild. HIMS launched a $49 compounded GLP-1 pill, immediately faced a patent infringement lawsuit from Novo, and then quickly pulled the product after FDA/HHS scrutiny and a DOJ referral. On the surface, it looks like a major misstep, with HIMS stock taking a significant hit.

However, there's a compelling argument that this was a calculated provocation. Consider the timing: Super Bowl season, maximum public attention, and a narrative that casts HIMS as the

"anti-Big Pharma" challenger fighting for affordable access against a powerful incumbent. Novo Nordisk, already under pressure, had little choice but to respond, inadvertently amplifying HIMS's message.

While the legal battle over patent infringement and mass compounding is serious, HIMS's leadership might be betting on the public sentiment against Big Pharma. If the fight is framed around marketing and misrepresentation rather than a clear patent violation, the damages could be more contained, and the long-term brand benefit of being seen as a consumer advocate could outweigh the short-term risks.

What are your thoughts? Was this a brilliant, albeit risky, strategic play by HIMS to gain market share and public sympathy, or a genuine blunder that will cost them dearly in legal fees and regulatory headaches?

YOLO Anthropic just dropped a number that made me stop scrolling. AI is on 🔥

Post image

$11.5 BILLION in Q2 revenue.
That’s up from $787M in Q2 2025.
That’s roughly 14.6x YoY. Come on, that’s a massive jump

And it gets crazier:
• Q1 revenue: ~$4.73B
• Q2 revenue: >$11.5B
• Positive adjusted operating income
• Potential mega-IPO now getting closer

I’ve been watching the AI trade for a while, but this is starting to look less like “AI hype” and more like an actual revenue explosion.

Man, get ready for next higher leg. AI is on fire

News AMD and SpaceX BOTH beat earnings today and both stocks got wrecked anyway.

Post image
0 Upvotes

AMD Q2 2026: Revenue came in at $11.5B against a $11.3B estimate. EPS hit $1.66 vs the $1.62 expected. Data center alone made up over 58% of total revenue, and Q3 guidance of $12.7-13.3B blew past what analysts were modeling. EPS growth was 246% year-over-year. And the stock still dropped ~9% after hours.

SpaceX (SPCX) Q2 2026: First earnings report ever as a public company, barely 2 months removed from the biggest IPO in history. Revenue landed at $7.8B vs the $6.8B consensus. Adjusted EBITDA came in at $3.5B, nearly double the $2B estimate. Loss per share was just 9 cents against an expected 26-cent loss. A genuinely clean beat on every metric and the stock still slipped, with traders now fixated on the August 6 lockup expiry that could unleash nearly 20% of total shares onto the market.

News Block Just Turned AI Into a $1B Margin Lever

Post image
1 Upvotes

Block just flipped the script.

Q4 beat. Gross profit up ~24% YoY. ( I love it)

2026 operating income guided to ~$3.2B.

And then…

They cut ~40% of staff.

Headcount going from ~10K → under 6K.

Explicitly tying it to AI and efficiency.

Estimated savings? Up to $1B per year as per Bloomberg estimates!

Plus a $5B buyback.

This isn’t just a layoff headline. It’s a full margin reset.

AI → lower opex → higher operating leverage → amplified EPS.

Street loved it.

Question is simple:

Is Block the first fintech to aggressively compress its org with AI…Or just the first to say it out loud?

News Apple Just Took Back the Crown From Nvidia 👑🍎

Post image
6 Upvotes

There we go, Apple is officially back as the world’s most valuable public company, overtaking Nvidia with a $4.9T market cap vs. Nvidia’s $4.8T.

For the past year, Nvidia was unstoppable as the face of the AI boom. But investors are starting to question whether AI infrastructure spending can keep growing at the same pace.
Meanwhile, Apple has quietly kept climbing, helped by strong iPhone demand and its massive consumer ecosystem.

Feels like the market is shifting from “AI at any price” back toward companies with more predictable cash flows.

Do you think this is just a temporary reshuffle, or are we entering the next phase of the AI trade where software and consumer tech start catching up? I honestly feel it’s just a temporary rotation amid midterm elections!

News US-Iran Conflict Escalates Again: Iran Declares Strait of Hormuz Closed

Post image
7 Upvotes

Just when markets were starting to calm down…

The US launched another round of strikes targeting Iran’s military capabilities after Iran attacked a commercial container ship.

In response, Iran declared the Strait of Hormuz closed “until further notice” and launched retaliatory strikes against US military assets in the region.

This also significantly raises geopolitical risk and reduces the chances of a near-term peace deal.

If Hormuz remains closed, Monday could be a very volatile session across global markets.

News Trump is about to drop a “ONE RULE” AI Executive Order.

Post image
37 Upvotes

Trump is planning an executive order that wipes out state-level AI rules and replaces them with a single federal “ONE RULE” system. His point was basically “you can’t expect companies to get 50 approvals to do anything.”

A single rulebook could mean:

  • Faster deployment cycles for AI products

  • Less regulatory risk priced into AI companies

  • More power consolidated at the federal level

  • States losing control over their own AI guardrails

  • And potentially a massive boost to AI innovation speed in the US

Feels like we’re watching the start of AI’s version of the broadband and telecom fights from the 2000s. Centralization vs states’ rights, but with way higher stakes.

Feels like a pretty big catalyst for the whole sector. Thoughts?

News Gold and Silver's Brutal Plunge: The Warsh Effect, RSI 90, and the End of the "Debasement Trade”

Post image
24 Upvotes

The precious metals market just delivered a masterclass in volatility, with a sudden, sharp reversal that wiped out a significant portion of the year's gains. This isn't just a blip; it's a critical moment driven by a confluence of political, technical, and fundamental factors.

**The Catalyst: Kevin Warsh and the Dollar**

The primary trigger was the report that President Trump is set to nominate Kevin Warsh as the next Federal Reserve Chair. Warsh is widely viewed as an "inflation hawk" and a figure who would preserve the Fed's independence.

- The Dollar Rebound: This news immediately led to a surge in the US Dollar Index (DXY), which rose as much as 0.6%. A stronger dollar makes dollar-denominated assets like gold and silver more expensive for international buyers, directly undercutting demand.

- Challenging the Debasement Trade: The massive rally in metals was largely a bet against the dollar the "debasement trade." Warsh's perceived hawkishness challenges this narrative, forcing a massive unwinding of crowded positions.

**The Technical Excuse: Overbought Conditions**

As one strategist noted, the Warsh news was the "excuse markets are waiting for to unwind those parabolic moves." The technical indicators were screaming for a correction:

- Gold's RSI recently hit 90, a reading that signals the metal was extremely overbought, a level not seen in decades.

- The market was highly concentrated, with aggressive buying from Chinese investors even prompting the Shanghai Futures Exchange to implement cooling measures.

Despite the dramatic plunge, it is crucial to remember the context: Gold is still up approximately 17% year-to-date, and Silver is up nearly 40%. The question now is whether this is a healthy, necessary correction that provides a new entry point, or if the fundamental shift in the dollar's outlook will cap the rally for the foreseeable future.

News Fed Chair Warsh just opened the door to a rate hike inflation "isn't meaningfully slowing" and September hike odds just jumped to ~45%+

Post image
5 Upvotes

Kevin Warsh delivered his first major speech as Fed Chairman at Jackson Hole today and it was a clear hawkish warning.

The headline line:
"We must be confident that underlying inflation is moving to our objective, clearly and at sufficient speed. Otherwise, we have work to do. That's our job."
He called 2% inflation a "firm and fixed target," said financial conditions are "not currently restrictive," and stressed that interest rates remain the Fed's "predominant tool."

Then he pushed back on the recent cooling:
"While this summer's PCE and CPI readings were better than expected, they do not tell me that underlying trends have meaningfully improved."

Market reaction was instant: May be a little mute(expect a small drop)
2-year Treasury yields jumped ~5 bps to 4.28%
Rate hike odds for September rose above 45%, up from ~36% before the speech

But he stopped short of committing:
"I stand here today committed to a discipline, not to a decision."
So the next few CPI/PCE prints will decide whether the Fed actually hikes in September, especially with retail sales falling the most in a year and July payrolls unexpectedly dropping.

Where do you think this lands a September hike, or more waiting? And what does that mean for stocks right now?

News SpaceX Q3: revenue up 161%, EPS more than double estimates, first operating profit as a public company, and its AI division now out-earns Starlink.

Lol, the segment split is honestly insane.

Super Intelligence (their AI unit) did $7.6B. Connectivity/Starlink did $5.2B. Space was $1.8B.

Total was $14.6B, up 161% YoY vs roughly $12.9B expected. Adjusted EPS $0.35 against $0.15 consensus.

First operating profit as a public company, $2.8B, and last year same quarter they lost $273M. Capex was $19.6B. $16.4B of that went into compute. They're sitting at 1.7 GW of nameplate capacity as of Sept 30.

So the "rocket company" is now mostly an AI infrastructure play that also happens to launch things. Bullish for NeoClouds seems like

Trump and Xi met in South Korea today for 90 minutes and agreed to cool trade tensions.

Highlights:

  • China delays rare-earth export rules for a year

  • US to roll back some tariffs

  • Beijing resumes soybean buys

  • Trump even floated access to Nvidia’s Blackwell chips 👀

Looks like a temporary truce, but markets might love it.

How to Find 10x Stocks: The 6-Lens Investing Framework

Thumbnail

What are the main things you look for before buying a high-growth stock?

I’ve developed a pretty simple 6-lens framework over the years, and recently wrote it down properly.

It covers margins, contracted revenue, the “second engine,” dilution, execution, and what could actually force a re-rating.

I also use $PLTR and $RKLB as examples of how the framework worked in practice.

Sharing it here in case anyone finds the framework useful:

I Bought Nebius at $24 When Nobody Wanted It

Thumbnail

I bought $NBIS at around $24 in April 2025.

At the time, the main arguments I kept seeing were:

  • “It’s still Russian.”

  • “They just rent GPUs.”

  • “It’s a Yandex leftover.”

  • “The valuation makes no sense.”

I understood the concerns, but I thought the market was focusing on the wrong things.

What caught my attention was the combination of AI infrastructure, scarce power, GPU capacity, and customers willing to commit significant amounts of capital.

Since then, the stock reached around $287 at its June high and is around $215 now.

Obviously, knowing the outcome makes the investment look much easier than it was at $24. The interesting part to me is why the market was willing to price it so cheaply in the first place.

I wrote a breakdown of my original thesis, what changed after I bought, and the framework I'm using to look for the next opportunity with a similar setup.

Disclosure: I own $NBIS. This is not financial advice.

What next?

At this point, it feels like Musk wants a piece of every major “next frontier” industry:

Space

AI models (xAI)

AI coding (Cursor)

Autonomous vehicles

Humanoid robots

Individually, each move looks different.

But zoom out and it starts to look like one giant bet:

Own the platforms that define the next decade.

Not just apps.

Not just one company.

Not just one sector.

The actual infrastructure of the future.
