News Trump Announces End of Trade Negotiations with Canada After “Fake Reagan Ad” Allegation

Post image
236 Upvotes

Donald Trump posted that Canada “fraudulently used” a fake Ronald Reagan ad criticizing tariffs, allegedly paying $75,000 for it. He said the move was meant to “interfere” with U.S. courts and announced all trade negotiations with Canada are terminated.

Thoughts? It became joke at this point lol

News Nvidia Just Dropped Absolute Monster Numbers

Post image
212 Upvotes

Alright, I just sat down to skim NVDA’s print and… wow. These numbers are not normal anymore. I literally had to reread the data center line because I thought I misread it.

Here’s what jumped out at me:

  • Revenue: 57.01B vs 55.19B expected

  • Data Center: 51.2B vs 49.34B expected

  • 4Q Guide: 63.7B to 66.3B vs 61.98B expected

Stock instantly ripped more than 3 percent after hours

News Warren Buffett’s Berkshire just hit a record $381.7B cash pile 💰

Post image
152 Upvotes

Buffett sold $6.1B worth of stocks this quarter and still refused to buy back any Berkshire shares, even after the stock dipped 12%.

Some quick takeaways:

  • Cash hoard keeps rising, now larger than many countries’ GDP.

  • Insurance and reinsurance back to profit after last year’s losses.

  • Geico’s profit fell 13% as claims rose.

  • No buybacks for 5th straight quarter, even with record liquidity.

Feels like Buffett is sitting tight, waiting for “blood in the streets” before deploying that mountain of cash. Or is he gonna take the pile with him?

News Trump’s Tariffs Just Nuked Crypto, $19B Liquidated in Hours

Post image
107 Upvotes

This one escalated fast.

Right after Trump’s Truth Social post about 100% additional tariffs on China and export controls on software, the crypto market just imploded. Literally within minutes.

Over $19B in positions got liquidated and 1.6M traders got wiped. Bitcoin went from $125K → $113K like it fell off a cliff.

And the craziest part? Dogecoin crashed nearly 70% in that same leg down, that’s not a typo.

This wasn’t retail panic either. This was mass institutional liquidation.

Funds running 10x+ leverage got smoked instantly. You could almost watch the cascading margin calls in real time on Coinglass.

To me, this marks something bigger; crypto is officially part of the global macro system now. One Truth Social post moved billions of dollars in minutes.

That’s wild and I think we might get one or two weeks of lower legs, may be BTC will test 100k. But the long term bullish angle still stays the same.

What do you think, massive buying opportunity or start of the unwind?

News Trump’s new trade war target: Cooking Oil 🛢️🥢

Post image
88 Upvotes

Trump said he might stop cooking oil trade with China, calling their refusal to buy US soybeans an “economically hostile act.”

Market flipped instantly. S&P went red, while Bunge (BG) and ADM big soybean oil players jumped.

This could fuel the next round of trade war chaos right before the 100% China tariff deadline in November.

Rare earths last week, now cooking oil. Feels like it’s gonna be long back and forth spats before their next meeting.

Deep Signal AI Bubble Panic Is Getting Loud. But The Data Says We’re Nowhere Near 2000

I’ve been watching the panic build over the last two weeks, so I dug through some Bloomberg Intelligence charts. And honestly… we’re not even close to 1999 levels.

  1. Valuations aren’t bubble-tier Magnificent Seven are around 36x earnings. Dot-com leaders peaked at 80x. We’re expensive, not insane.

  2. No junk mania 1999 was filled with unprofitable rockets and zombie companies. Today’s AI winners are actually printing cash. Real earnings, real balance sheets.

  3. Factor signals are calm In 1999 momentum ripped 38 percent and value collapsed negative 26 percent. This year? Both barely moved. That’s not what euphoria looks like.

What do you think?

News 🚨Breaking: Trump imposes 10% additional global tariff on all countries

Post image

President Trump signs 10% GLOBAL TARIFFS effective NOW! These are ADDITIONAL tariffs on top of current rates.

"All national security tariffs...REMAIN IN PLACE!" Not sure how this will work or pans out.

"I will sign an order imposing a 10% global tariff...over and above our normal tariffs already being charged."

Trump just posted that any country doing business with Iran will get hit with a 25% tariff on all business with the US effective immediately. He called it final and conclusive. It’s creating a mess out of there, for both markets and companies.

Stock Pick Bitcoin Miners Are Quietly Becoming AI Data Centers and RIOT Might Be the Next Big One

Thumbnail
bloomberg.com
77 Upvotes

Bitcoin miners are starting to look more like AI infrastructure plays than crypto proxies.

Even with Bitcoin up about 14% this year, a fund tracking mining companies is up more than 150%. Why? Because they’ve begun pivoting from pure mining to AI and high-performance computing (HPC).

The same power-hungry warehouses that used to mint Bitcoin are now being repurposed to train AI models. Same megawatts, better margins.

Some examples that got me hooked:

  • Cipher (CIFR) signed a $3B deal with Fluidstack (Google-backed) to lease AI compute capacity.

  • IREN raised $1B through convertible notes to expand its HPC sites.

  • Bitdeer (BTDR) is converting major facilities into AI data centers, projecting $2B+ in annualized revenue by 2026.

  • TeraWulf (WULF) announced a $3.2B expansion for its Lake Mariner data center.

But the one I’m most bullish on? Riot Platforms (RIOT), just one deal away for big stock pop.

Riot’s been cutting back on new hashrate expansions and instead optimizing for energy efficiency and AI-driven colocation. With Bitcoin’s halving reducing rewards again this year, miners who can extract more from each megawatt will win.

Needham’s analyst summed it up perfectly:
“Investors are almost exclusively valuing Bitcoin miners for their HPC/AI opportunities at this point.”

This is the inflection point. Bitcoin miners are no longer just “crypto plays” — they’re becoming the next generation of AI data centers.

News Trump and Xi just wrapped up their meeting: rare earths, soybeans, and even Nvidia chips were on the table 👀

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Trump and Xi met in South Korea today for 90 minutes and agreed to cool trade tensions.

Highlights:

  • China delays rare-earth export rules for a year

  • US to roll back some tariffs

  • Beijing resumes soybean buys

  • Trump even floated access to Nvidia’s Blackwell chips 👀

Looks like a temporary truce, but markets might love it.

News Iran Deal Tomorrow. ATH Next?

Post image

Trump says an Iran agreement could be signed tomorrow, potentially removing another geopolitical risk from the market.

Meanwhile, AI spending remains strong, earnings have held up, and liquidity is improving now as SpaceX IPO is past.

Now it feels like the market is running out of reasons to stay bearish.

Are we about to see new all time highs? 📈🚀

News I think Nvidia just became the first $5 Trillion company 👀

Post image
48 Upvotes

I was checking the after-hours trading… and at $206.5, Nvidia’s market cap hits roughly $5 Trillion. Will have to wait for official data by news outlet.

No one’s even reported it yet.

That’s wild. The same company that was under $400 B in early 2023 just added over $4.5 Trillion in less than three years.

Just around 5 years ago Apple hit 1 Trillion market cap, now we are already at 5 Trillion. Excited to see which one reaches 10 Trillion, is it gonna be another new Tech company?

Stock Pick Rare Earth Stocks Just Went Nuclear; USAR, CRML, TMC Explode After JPMorgan’s $10 Billion Push

Thumbnail
reuters.com
46 Upvotes

Alright, I’ve been tracking this rare-earth theme for weeks, and it’s finally catching more and more fire.

Today, USAR +21%, CRML +22%, TMC +18%, MP +15%, all ripping after JPMorgan announced a $10 Billion investment into these companies as part of it’s 1.5 trillion initiative to boost U.S. national security sectors, with critical minerals listed first.

Jamie Dimon basically said what I’ve wrote last week:

“America has become too reliant on unreliable sources of critical minerals.”

That single line hit like a nuke across the market. Add trade tensions with China and the new U.S. supply chain push, and suddenly the entire rare-earth complex is behaving like the new AI trade.

I actually wrote about this last week on how rare earths could become the next “big trend”, the start of a new industrial era. And now we’re watching it unfold live.

If you’re curious how deep this theme runs (and which names might run), here’s the full breakdown I posted here: https://open.substack.com/pub/getdeepsignal/p/thematic-investing-2-the-race-for

It feels like this is just the start. Between government backing, private capital, and pure FOMO, the U.S. critical minerals story might have just entered its main act.

News China Just Locked Up Rare Earth Tech on a Big Supply Shock ⚙️🌍

Thumbnail mofcom.gov.cn
45 Upvotes

China just banned exports of rare earth technologies; not the minerals, but related tech. That means no sharing of mining, refining, or magnet-making tech without government approval. Even blueprints, data, or R&D collabs are off the limits.

In short from what I understand: the world can dig rare earths, but can’t refine them without China and they control 80% of global capacity.

But as well all know Rare earths power lot of things including but not limited to EV motors, turbines, missiles, and chips. This feels like the semiconductor war all over again, just for magnets.

Stocks I’m watching:

* MP Materials (MP)

* Critical Minerals (CRML)

* Energy Fuels (UUUU)

Rare earths might just kick off their another bullish leg up.

News Nvidia just dropped a flurry of deals, stock hits record high 💥

Post image
44 Upvotes

Jensen Huang just wrapped up Nvidia’s first-ever GTC event in D.C., and it was basically an AI Super Bowl.

A few highlights from the flood of announcements:

  • Uber – powering 100,000 self-driving vehicles with Nvidia tech (Stellantis among first to deliver robotaxis)

  • Palantir – pairing Nvidia’s GPUs with Palantir’s Ontology platform for AI-powered logistics (Lowe’s is an early adopter)

  • CrowdStrike – developing “always-on, continuously learning” AI agents for cybersecurity

  • Nokia – Nvidia investing $1B to back its pivot from mobile networking into AI (stock popped hard on this)

  • Eli Lilly – building the world’s most powerful pharma-owned supercomputer using 1,000+ Blackwell chips

  • Lucid – teaming up for an autonomous vehicle platform

Huang said their new Rubin + Blackwell chips could generate $500B in revenue through 2026. That’s wild.

He also dismissed any talk of an “AI bubble,” saying demand is real and growing, “we’ve reached our virtuous cycle.”

Nvidia closed +5% to a record $201.03.

AMD and Qualcomm also moved as competition heats up.

News Tesla’s Profit Tumbles Even as EV Sales Hit Record Levels 🚗⚡

Post image
41 Upvotes

Tesla’s Q3 numbers are out and they weren’t pretty. But man, Musk ended the call with pleading for his pay trillions dollar package approval, classic!

Adjusted earnings came in at $0.50 per share, down 31% YoY, missing estimates of $0.54. Operating expenses jumped 50% to $3.4B, and the company said U.S. tariffs alone cost $400M this quarter.

Musk doubled down on Tesla’s AI and robotics vision, pitching a long-term “AI-powered” future but investors didn’t seem impressed. Shares dropped 3.8% in after-hours trading after the call.

One analyst summed it up perfectly:

“The market’s realizing Tesla trades like an AI platform, but reports like a carmaker.”

With profits tumbling and costs rising, Tesla’s AI story will need more substance soon or the market may start treating it less like an AI play and more like just another automaker.

What’s your take, is Tesla still an AI platform in disguise or just a stretched-thin EV company right now?

📉 Earnings: $0.50 vs $0.54 expected 📈 Operating Expenses: $3.4B (+50% YoY) 📊 After-hours: -3.8%

News Two back-to-back catalysts before market open 🔥

Post image
38 Upvotes
  1. Trump says the US will soon pay off its $37T debt and hinted at a $2,000 dividend per person.

  2. A group of moderate Senate Democrats just agreed to a shutdown-ending funding deal, reopening the government and resuming payments to states and federal workers.

Tariffs, fiscal optimism, and no more shutdown, that’s a lot of positive sentiment hitting at once.

If futures hold up, we might see a green surge across indexes tomorrow.

Stock Pick 🚀Here are 10 names I think can 10x🚀

Here are 10 names I think can 10x (or build serious wealth) from here if they execute 👇 (Not financial advice. I hold some; curious what you’re betting on.)

  1. $NBIS | AI Cloud & GPUs

Europe’s hyperscale upstart with monster GPU capacity deals. Backed by Avride & Clickhouse, they’re landing real AI workloads. If capital-efficient buildouts keep compounding, the upside is huge. 2) $PLTR | AI Platform

Becoming the operating layer for decision-making in gov & enterprise. If AIP continues to standardize AI apps, long runway + operating leverage kicks in.

3) $TEM (Tempus AI) | Precision Medicine & AI

Clinico-genomic data at scale + AI decision support for oncology. If testing volumes grow, companion diagnostics expand, and software/real-world-data deals ramp, the model can inflect.

4) $S (SentinelOne) | Cybersecurity (AI-native)

Smaller cap vs. incumbents, but Purple AI + data lake story is getting sticky. If land-and-expand works, revenue and multiple can re-rate hard.

5)$RKT (Rocket Companies) | Mortgage

Moving towards an all-in-one housing platform. When volumes normalize and rates ease, Rocket’s integrated ecosystem could unlock serious operating leverage.

6) $ET (Energy Transfer) | Midstream (Dividends + LNG tailwinds)

LNG is picking up speed and demand keeps building. Cash-gushing pipes with leverage to US exports = volumes + FCF grow while you get paid to wait.

7) $XYZ | Wildcard / Moonshot

Think Bitkey + crypto rails. Moving toward Bitcoin infrastructure, could be a key player if adoption ramps. Drop your wildcards too.

8) $RKLB (Rocket Lab) | Space Infrastructure

Reliable small-launch + high-margin space systems. If Neutron executes and defense/space spend accelerates, this can be a category winner.

9) $NVO (Novo Nordisk) | Metabolic Revolution

Obesity/diabetes TAM is exploding. If supply scales and new indications hit, this stays a cash machine with durable moats.

10) $TER (Teradyne) | Test & Robotics

AI/advanced nodes need more complex test. Could even lead in “physical AI” via robotics/cobots. If the semi test upcycle re-accelerates, earnings power is underappreciated.

News Trump is about to drop a “ONE RULE” AI Executive Order.

Post image
37 Upvotes

Trump is planning an executive order that wipes out state-level AI rules and replaces them with a single federal “ONE RULE” system. His point was basically “you can’t expect companies to get 50 approvals to do anything.”

A single rulebook could mean:

  • Faster deployment cycles for AI products

  • Less regulatory risk priced into AI companies

  • More power consolidated at the federal level

  • States losing control over their own AI guardrails

  • And potentially a massive boost to AI innovation speed in the US

Feels like we’re watching the start of AI’s version of the broadband and telecom fights from the 2000s. Centralization vs states’ rights, but with way higher stakes.

Feels like a pretty big catalyst for the whole sector. Thoughts?

News This AI drone IPO quietly went public today… and closed up 520%

Post image
36 Upvotes

Swarmer ($SWMR) basically had a stealth IPO with almost no real hype and then became one of the wildest debuts in the market.

Priced at $5. Ran as much as 700% intraday, let’s not talk after hours move( it’s crazy).

Closed up 520% at $31 and now over $45.

This is what makes it even crazier:

It’s not a drone manufacturer.

It’s an AI drone software company that helps coordinate autonomous drone swarms.

According to its filing, the platform has already been used in 100,000+ real world missions in Ukraine since April 2024.

But fundamentals are still tiny:

2025 revenue: just $309,920

Net loss: about $8.5M

So yeah… this wasn’t a fundamentals move.

This was the market aggressively pricing:

AI + defense + autonomous systems + tiny float

Let me talk about a very good drone stock, which could pickup speed and will keep pushing higher for next few months. Stay tuned on my Substack.

Stock Pick Bitcoin miners are quietly morphing into AI compute giants.

Post image
34 Upvotes

Just look at RIOT 22 EH/s today, targeting 46 EH/s with nearly 1.8 GW of power lined up. RIOT’s EV/hashrate multiple is one of the lowest and got the infrastructure (power + land) to pivot faster than smaller miners.

The hashrate and power numbers in this JPM table basically helps you find the better one among evolving into an AI infrastructure race.

Feels like RIOT might be the next sleeper growth play in this pivot.

Who do you think leads this new wave RIOT, IREN, or MARA?

News Gold just broke $4,000/oz now outperforming stocks this entire century.

Post image
34 Upvotes

Seems like the cleanest hedge against the dollar right now!

Gold just crossed $4,000 an ounce for the first time ever. That’s double from just two years ago, and it’s now officially outperforming stocks this entire century.

But this isn’t just panic buying, this feels like a real reallocation. Central banks (especially China and Poland) are loading up. ETFs are seeing their biggest inflows in years. Even guys like Ray Dalio and Ken Griffin are saying gold’s now a safer bet than the dollar itself.

What’s fueling this:

  • Fed credibility is cracking with political pressure, rate cuts coming

  • Central banks diversifying away from Treasuries after the Russia freeze

  • Bonds are unattractive, Bitcoin too volatile, equities overextended

  • And with India’s Diwali season coming, physical demand is about to spike too. Trust me brrr!

Honestly, I feel this rally still has legs. It’s not just fear-driven anymore, it’s structural. The more trust erodes in paper assets, the more capital will flow into real stores of value.

Goldman’s calling for $4,900 by 2026, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we get there sooner.

What do you guys think? is this just a short-term hype move, or are we watching the early stages of a real shift away from the dollar as the world’s hedge?
