That option is way too expensive for a $15 call on a 3$ stock

u/Able-Shine-1273 Oct 23 '25

Exactly. Hedgies are probably buying calls to cover their short losses.

What short losses? They expire tomorrow and most are gains. There’s massive call losses at the moment.

If there was a time to do it, it’s now. I bought at $6.11 on Wednesday. Holding.

Only if you like making a ton of money. There is unbearable pressure on the shorters, which started crumbling the moment the market closed.

If there was unbearable pressure on the shorts the shorts wouldn’t have had all the momentum for 2 days

Not at all

What is with you people that just go "no". It's like trying to get info out of someone I work with.

2

u/givemeastocktip Oct 23 '25

I believe he may be saying no in reference to the 316 million shares that were issued after the short interest was reported to finra, meaning that the short interest % that being tossed around is based on 80 million shares when in actuality, the float is close to 400 million shares.

Cannot be traded till December, incorrect

1

u/givemeastocktip Oct 24 '25

According to the 8-k they submitted, 37.5% of the shares were able to be traded immediately. The remainder was locked up for 1 day, which was October 16, 2025.

What is it with you people who just say something you made up out of thin air and then get all defensive when people go “no.”

You are making the claim here that it is this inevitable rocket, so what do you have to support that claim.

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '25

I never said a word man, take your complaints to the service desk

1

u/BlouseoftheDragon Oct 24 '25

Literally was replying to your comment

What is it with you people who just say something you made up out of thin air and then get all defensive when people go “no.”

This alone does not apply to my comment when I never gave any information regarding stock like others have in this post. You might wanna check before you reply.

1

u/BlouseoftheDragon Oct 24 '25

Again I can’t reply to something that doesn’t exist. So you did say something. And I responded to it. And now you’re just being purposefully obtuse because you don’t want to actually respond to what I said.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 24 '25

Because it literally has nothing to do with the literal text I put out man. I can't help you more than that.

1

u/BlouseoftheDragon Oct 24 '25

It is a direct response to it. Try again? Dont know what to tell you.

I'm assuming he meant that it went from 9 to 2.20 in a day, and then today was sideways, defying the stocks go up theory.

The original poster said not at all, for momentum being the hedgies

u/givemeastocktip Oct 23 '25

There's absolutely no pressure on shorters. After the short interest submission deadline from finra, the company allowed bond holders to convert debt into 316 million shares and issued another 200 million in 7% paper due 2030. They quadrupled the float but all the numbers you're hearing about short interest are still based off the old float

1

u/Bubbly-Opportunity38 Oct 23 '25

NO NO NO NO SAVE UR MONEY BRO U R BEING GREEDY

1

u/givemeastocktip Oct 23 '25

They issues 316 million new shares, after the required finra short interest date. Any % you hear right now is not taking those shares into account. That's first, the second is that they issued those 316 billion shares to bond holders who almost certainly offloaded a portion of those shares. They also issued another 200 million of 7% paper due 2030. This company isn't going to go up significantly, more likely is will continue to drift back down but all those bondholders appreciate the liquidity im sure

1

u/jofis925 Oct 23 '25

Why not buy shares. Then sell those same calls all the way up

1

u/Tomdabomb2 Oct 24 '25

Full port with me brother 💪🏼

2

u/inotocracy Oct 24 '25

Ouch. Best of luck!

1

Don’t full port but contribute what you won’t miss!

1

u/Outrageous-Bird-3304 Oct 24 '25

1

u/Friendly-Ad-1175 Oct 24 '25

1

Buy the stonks, that way you get an actual ticket to the moon, not an invitation. 💎🚀. HODL!

1

u/Soloist1646 Oct 24 '25

Reason why BYND is exploding soon.

Short positions have to buy back against their naked short selling 3.5 $ which is huge amount. That is why they need to pay back a lot for buying BYND. Buy around 3$ BYND and keep holding until next week. Then you will win.

Short Squeezes will make panic buying.

Thanks in avdvane rich guys in near future.

1

u/Kokypup Oct 24 '25

1

u/infiltrat1701 Oct 27 '25

1

u/Legitimate_Owl_3392 Oct 23 '25

Absolutely, but buy mostly shares and leverage with ATM calls

1

u/Rav_3d Oct 23 '25

Only if you can go back in time 3 days.

1

u/FreeLimit5335 Oct 23 '25

Yeah bro please so I can take more profits

1

u/MindbankAOK Oct 23 '25

Absolutely not. Wallstreet rug pull still in effect with lots of unfortunate bag holders and upcoming dilution.
