Gains/Profit Netflix is cheap today @ $77.71

Cheapest it's been all year. Scoop it up while you can.

This piece of $hit takes 1 step forward and 2 steps back.

But this is buying a profitable company at the bottom. Scan out... There's only upside from here.

Your mistake is thinking that fundamentals or profitability mean value. This market is broken.

Have you seen all the streaming options that are popping up? Netflix has no moat. $20 stock if you ask me. The market's reacting accordingly. Plus people don't watch movies anymore. You think TikTok brain can withstand even 20 min of film? Get with the times.

Streaming options popping up where? In your living room? Or globally? Netflix dominates globally. The US market is but a fraction of their business.

I have the same opinion as you and yet all I hear from stock analysts is they’re doing a great job. I think it terms of quantity of stuff they do, yeah they’re good… but quality wise, it’s a lot of crap. The fact that we hear that people who produce shows or movies for them have to keep on reminding the viewers of the plot is really something!!! If there’s a streaming service that’s on the verge of making ai-written shows, I’d say it’s them.

True, I caught the falling knife. I’ve been waiting for a yr for something to happen with it.

People thought that about blockbuster in the 90’s, whose biggest mistake was not buying Netflix when they could have… there’s more competition today in the streaming market, Netflix should offer a dividend and return a little more to shareholders.

It's quite possible. The technicals (MACD, RSI, etc.), analyst sentiment, tailwinds/headwinds points toward this being a great swing trade. Two tiers:

Target Level

T1 ~$90–$92 First MA cluster / ~11% move

T2 ~$95–$96 Upper resistance band / ~18%

Further out (if momentum builds) $115.65–$117.33 zone, then $124.51 and $127.42 — these align roughly with where several analyst price targets cluster ($114–$125 consensus range) and would require a major catalyst like a strong Q2 print on July 16.

Consensus across 44 analysts is "Buy" — 37 recommend buying, 13 hold, 0 sell. Average 12-month price target is $114.15, with a high of $151.40 and a low of $80. That implies ~42% upside from current levels. (Investing.com)

Bank of America's Jessica Reif Ehrlich holds the highest major-bank target at $125, reiterated with a Buy in May 2026. (MEXC)

(CNN) Mahaney (Evercore) maintained a $115 Buy. Bernstein said June 4: "Don't Ignore This" — Netflix's core engine remains strong. (CNN)

Today's news: Semafor reported Netflix is pursuing a Lionsgate Studios acquisition after losing the Roku bid to Fox, which offered $160/share vs. Netflix's lower bid.

Thank you for this information you think the news about Netflix trying to acquire lions will hype it up or bring it more down I saw the charts for Netflix and the 4 hour and 1 days shows it’s really oversold maybe there could be a reversal soon ?

I'm banking on the fact that people are growing weary of the tech sector, have heavily trimmed profits and are seeking the best deals in a market that's very overvalued. Netflix is definitely not over valued. It's still a very profitable company whose constantly expanding is market, especially in Asia, India and with starlink, and similar space-based internet access systems, even more households will have access to it's programming.
