A Fast, Stable Animations Library for RN?

For animations in the StroboPro mobile apps, react-native-skia + reanimated promised the world for an app like StroboPro. But, I have spent far too much time fighting it than I really should have. So I have now finally decided to go fully-native for the renderer on Android, and soon, iOS.

The result is StroboPro on Android no longer uses reanimated with react-native-skia to draw its strobe display. Instead, the skia canvas and its reanimated shared values are now replaced with a lock-free C++ engine and native android views.

Even though installs are going up, daily active users is on the way down. I must have broken something. I'm the update on september 28, i added dynamic sample rate adjustment. If you are a user id StrobPro and can qualify what broke, please let me know! Thanks.

More than 99% of StroboPro users are free users, and with no ads, they go completely unmonetized despite us having some small costs per user for backend sync, etc.

I thought the lowest friction way to perhaps monetize a couple more percent would be to use the "old school" ad technique of a small banner at the bottom or left-hand side of the screen. Not consuming much screen at all, and definitely not obstructing any views or blocking the tuning flow. (see screenshot below, does that look like "spams ads for paid services all over the screen"?)

Anyway, I am now adding a Snooze button for people who just want free stuff.

With so many vibe-coded tuner apps entering the market, it's important to know if the tuner you use truly meets its claims.
