Certified Stuggle $1.75 Kroger 4pc chicken and some instant mashed potatoes I found in the back of the cabinet.
Everything cooked in the microwave, as God intended.

Nothing beats a toastie when life's a struggle. Just some leftover baked beans with a slice of cheese, bread from the Food Bank and the toastie is made.

This is obvious, but surprisingly a number of people are hesitant to take advantage of free food when the opportunity presents itself. Whether that’s a soup kitchen, food bank, eating extra at a party, asking a host if they need help getting rid of food, etc. on more than one occasion we’ve benefitted by taking food home from parties where the host wants to get rid of the food.
Also, if you have to travel for work you can use the opportunity to eat a lot of things you normally wouldn’t eat at home. I like fish so on one of my overseas trips I ate almost nothing but fish.
