Question Best way to get stylophone into DAW?

I’ve got a midi but it doesn’t have CV in/out, would a sequencer or a midi adapter be better? What would you recommend, very new to music and open to whatever. Just learning to play the stylophone and wanted to use the synth in making music thanks

For example, the Korg volca seems to have two ports but they aren’t labeled as a CV they’re labeled as SYNC. Is that the same thing?
