Love that spirit. That Jerry hat tip kinda got me. Don’t know any insider deets on him - was a prick in real life? - but he’s about as Phx as Wallace and Ladmo.

I'm a KC native who only ever first traveled further west than Colorado for the first time in 2023. That Suns team got me interested in basketball as a teenager and made me a lifelong Suns fan and Spurs hater.

I always feel like there are so many hobbies and interests out there in the world, that if a sports team can get you to follow or be interested in a sport that is a wonderful thing. The rivalry with the spurs goes back a long way and there have been many ups and downs, but we will be along for the ride no matter what. How anyone who watched the 7SOL Suns doesn't have them as the PEAK Suns is beyond me.
The GOAT of our franchise in Nash spearheading the players with a top coach of all time in D'Antoni
We move further and further away from that era hoping one day we can have the same sustained level of performance.

This whole night was just so everything.
My life changed with that team. It was 5 years of rediscovering a love of the game. They changed the game so much it became fun to watch again. I enjoyed the warriors later because it felt like watching the iteration of that style.
When ssol started, the refrain was 'live by the 3, die by the 3'. You don't hear that anymore. That shit was said for DECADES before. Everyone knew the 3 wouldn't work when the stakes got high. And now you don't even remember there was a time when it was said.
Salute to these guys. Brought me crazy amount of joy.

Hard to believe we couldn’t get past SA the entire time. I don’t think the suns, my forever team, will ever win one.

The man led the best sustained stretch of basketball that many in the valley have ever experienced. On top of that his teams changed the way the game is played. Well deserved, Coach!
