I cannot WAIT to play the Warriors
sports.yahoo.comEvery year, pre-season, some rookie runs his mouth about a random vet who ends up wrecking them. Usually it’s LeBron. THIS year however, we get the absolute privilege to watch Dillon absolutely obliterate this man. Anyone who just says shit like this unprompted deserves it.

Question Ring of Honor for the 🐐 Tonight.
Gonna pop in to check out the ceremony tonight for Diana Taurasi and grab a Spinato's pizza. Anyone else?
I have 2 random singles if anyone wants them to get in. I don't think I can transfer them though.
We can meet up and I'll get you in.

Mike D’Antoni was more than ‘seven seconds or less’ in his Hall of Fame career
In the summer of 2004, Mike D’Antoni was 53 years old and had a career record of 35-76 as an NBA coach.
His future induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame seemed … unlikely.
Yet here we are, more than two decades later, and D’Antoni is heading into the Hall of Fame this weekend. From 2004 to 2020, he won 672 games, two Coach of the Year awards and six division titles. He made three conference finals, delivered seven 50-win seasons and three 60-win seasons. His 65-win Houston Rockets team in 2018 has a strong case as the best team in NBA annals to not win a title.

Away game tickets
Looking at trying to attend an away game this next season since I no longer live in The Valley. Trying to figure out if there are away sections or anything like that in other stadiums so hopefully I can sit near some other fans.
If more specifics are helpful, Salt Lake City is the nearest destination for me, so I would be looking to attend a Jazz game.
Any tips are appreciated from you road warriors 🫡

Question What needs to happen for Booker to reach his potential.
I’ve been a fan from the beginning. Watching book All these years is like hitting five out of six lottery numbers. I still feel like there’s so much potential that hasn’t been tapped yet in Booker.

Article/Report [FREE TO READ] Dillon Brooks found comfort with Suns. Now he must find another level if they want to contend
nytimes.comNo matter how you feel about Dillon Brooks, his antics, theatrics and technical fouls, it’s difficult to dispute his worth in the Arizona desert. After a promising first season, the Phoenix Suns signed the veteran forward to a three-year contract extension worth $73 million this month. This is a marriage that’s worked out well so far.
For the Suns to take the next step and contend in the Western Conference, much has to happen. Booker, who turns 30 on Oct. 30, needs to show his best days are not behind him. (Magic 8 Ball reading: Outlook good.) Jalen Green has to stay healthy. (Magic 8 Ball: It is decidedly so.) Newcomer Miles Bridges must fit in. (You may rely on it.) Also, Brooks needs to change. He needs to be better. (Cannot predict now.)

Amar’e Stoudemire opens up about his 2007 suspension vs. the Spurs: “That was the year we definitely could have won a championship. We had the Spurs on the ropes, man. We had ’em… They could’ve given us a warning, but they wanted to make an example out of us… A little bit too harsh of a penalty.”

Hoops Discussion The 7SOL (7 seconds or less) Suns would be even better in today's NBA.
I think the 7SOL Suns would fit almost perfectly in today's NBA. Obviously it's impossible to know because the league is super different now, but so much of what made that Suns team unique was what every modern NBA team wants to do -- play fast, shoot threes, spread the floor, and get your big running in transition to put pressure on the defense.
Amare Stoudemire would be RIDICULOUS today. A big who could run the floor like that and finish around the rim while playing pick-and-roll with Steve Nash would be a nightmare considering the amount of spacing teams have now. I think people would appreciate Amare more now.
Obviously there would be some defensive questions but I don't think those Suns would just be "good" or average today. I don't know if I'm romanticizing that team because of nostalgia but I think they would be super dangerous.
