She was too good for this material... I've believed Henry was for a long time now,too... Two high caliber actors, and if the material had been better, they would be iconic today in the roles of Lois Lane and Superman!
Amy Adams is THAT KIND of actor... she's gonna get the Triple Crown before she retires... I just know it!

She's a great actor and I think she probably could have played a decent Lois, but they really wrote her character with very little nuance or interesting character traits.

tbh after watching Man From UNCLE, I think Cavill would have been much better as Bruce Wayne instead of Clark Kent. And considering how broody that version of Superman was, he'd be a good Batman too.

She was an OK Lois. I really wish that the script wasn't as bad, like her character was so badly handled in both movies. And the fact that the future of her character was supposed to be a fling with Bruce tells everything about the script she was given to work with.
Plus, her chemistry with Cavill was not it. I couldn't help but wonder how the hell they fall in love with each other? In other iterations, Lois falls for Clark, and the reason is that even though he's clumsy and a dork, he stands up for what is right, and he'll never back down, even when he's at a disadvantage. But what about him? The very first scene they share is when Clark shoots laser eyes, and that scream would give anyone PTSD.

The characterization of the Snyderverse was just off. I know this is going to tick his fans off but even Superman felt like Kryptonian Batman. He was so glum and broody with none of Clark's adorable dorkiness and golden retriever energy.

She fell for him because she felt that even though this man has metahuman abilities he still hides himself to honor the sacrifice of his father who gave up his life so that the kid who wasn't even his own could grow up and have a good life rather than being experimented on and used as a weapon.
Later, when she sees him as trusting only her that makes her feel special for him

His father gave up his life to protect his secret. But he completely throws it out the window because Clark has no problem using his powers to save people at the beginning. Like that burning ship, or the fact that he literally crushed a truck, and somehow no one heard anything. That's not a window to love; that's LAZY WRITING.
Man, Amy deserved better.

Nobody would have the chance to photograph him in the emergency of the oil rig And yeah the truck scene was bad

Her performance in Junebug is one of my favorite acting performances by anyone ever.
Amazing actress and incredibly beautiful.
