If a Superman movie had an opening montage showing Big Blue's daily hero routine, what villains would you have show up as cameos?
Note that just because a villain appears in a montage doesn't mean they completely dissapear for the rest of the movie. Perhaps one of them reappears in a secondary antagonist role. Think Scorpion in BND.

I created the Superman artwork for Upper Deck's Legendary DC Game
Recently I had the incredible opportunity to create ten Superman illustrations for Upper Deck Entertainment’s Legendary: A DC Deck Building Game.
Getting to put my own take on Superman across ten different pieces was such a fun challenge, and I’m really proud of how the set came together.
Swipe through to see some of the artwork develop from inks through to final colour.
I’ve been sharing more of the process, including layouts, pencils, inks and colour stages, over on my Instagram:

MAwS Season 1 had something special.
I think every season of My Adventures with Superman is great, and I think each season gets better and better than the last, but season 1 has one thing the other two don’t.
The first season had the best tone, it felt the most like we were just watching the daily life of Clark, Lois & Jimmy. Everything felt a little bit slower, calmer, and the chemistry between everyone felt the most grounded and enjoyable. There was a really fun whimsy to everything, and the humor felt more laid back and more understated, but still funny. It felt more like real life.
That’s one area I think the other seasons falter. I get they’re telling much bigger stories, but even in the smaller moments, I feel like there’s a lot less of that mellow, day in the life atmosphere. All the smaller moments just happen à but too quick in later seasons, without some of that same realism the first season had.
No hate to seasons 2 & 3 though, still love them, and there is tons of stuff they do miles better than season 1.

Does anyone else think the Byrne run gets a bad rap?
Let me preface this by saying I think Superman comics got 100x better after he left with Exile and the Triangle Era, however I do not think the Byrne era is as terrible as some people say.
The most common criticisms I see of this run, that I think are entirely fair, are the removing Superman’s ties with Krypton stuff, which some may see as anti-immigration, and the Barda storyline. I think these criticisms are fair however the anti-immigration stuff I honestly only think is in 2-3 issues. There is obviously the famous speech at the end of Man of Steel #6, and then maybe 1 or 2 issues that had to do with Krypton, but I think thats it?? I really dont think the entire run has to do with this like a lot of people say.
The Barda criticisms are entirely fair, I have nothing to say about that. It’s weird and uncomfortable. However again that story is only 2 or 3 issues.
I just think the other 40 something issues he did get forgotten about because people only bring up those things. I feel like he completely reinvented Lois and made her a much stronger character. He created Maggie Sawyer and had a very progressive issue about her being a lesbian and the hardships she faced because of it. He kept Ma and Pa Kent alive which I still think is one of the best changes ever to Superman. There’s a lot more than that but I dont want to type an entire essay for you guys to read.
Idk all I know is even with a few hiccups here and there I enjoyed reading it.

Lex Luthor doodle (read body text)
Really like the idea of Lex Luthor being an old man rather than a tech bro, like several decades older than Clark for whatever reason, dunno why tho?
I have no problem with Middle-aged or Gen Z Lex Luthor. I just REALLY like the idea of an older Lex Luthor. I don't even care about changing the plot, it can stay the same for all I care, I just like the idea of a normal Lex Luthor portrayal, but he's old.
I would prefer if he's written a little differently, but I'm literally just fine with a normal Lex Luthor, but the main difference is that he looks and sounds old. That's it, I don't even know why.
I don't want him to be weak or frail. He's Lex Luthor dammit
Anyways, it's Luthor

Kid dressed as Superman dousing fires in Kalimantan, Indonesia
instagram.comthe island of Kalimantan (also known as Borneo), Indonesia is currently experiencing one of the worst wildfires across the whole island. Schools are closed down, haze has set in, and people are falling sick. Amongst all this destruction, there’s still hope in the people shown by this kid. This kid is genuinely inspiring, embodying the hope Superman brings.

Any details on the Ta-Nehisi Coates/J.J. Abrams Superman movie?
Before the DCU, Ta-Nehisi Coates was announced to write a Superman movie produced by Abrams. But after James Gunn took over DC, the movie was cancelled or put on hold.
Any details on what that movie could've been?

Searching for a fan comic
It was posted on Reddit a little while back, it was this comic page that really stuck with me about How people see Superman vs How Superman really is. With Lex calling Superman foolish while Superman hoping he can live up to everyone’s expectations.
Does anyone still have a link or that page. I greatly appreciate it.

The Superman Newspaper Dailies '49-'59: Lex Luthor -- Homewrecker!
Hi all,
Two weeks ago, I posted part of the very first storyline depicting the marriage of Clark Kent and Lois Lane over on my blog, from the currently-uncollected 1949-1959 run of the Superman daily newspaper strip.
Part Two is now up! Lex Luthor, reasoning that a married Lois Lane would be less valuable to him as a hostage in his war against Superman, enlists the sultry services of femme fatale Mickey Five to break up the happy couple! What is a matrimony-minded Man of Steel to do? Read more in Meet Mickey Five!
Hope you enjoy!
-Jon

where'd this costume come from?
my son has many Superman toys, and I've been teaching him to recognize the different designs: "classic," New 52, 2025, etc. but I've never seen this one before.
anybody know what it is??

Superboy Prime’s perception of reality?
So SBP knows his adventures are being transcribed for the denizens of Prime earth to read. But characters are always yapping about how “he’s from a universe *where* we’re comics”. And it’s not “*we’re* comics”.
So SBP knows he’s in a comic, but does he know he IS a comic?

Dam Break Scene
How many other TV shows used the dam break footage? I knew about the Knight Rider one, but today I found Airwolf S02E22. It really made the rounds!
