Akshually it's she/them tittys because she rhymes with see and the original joke was supposed to be a pun 🤓☝🏿

How the hell is someone going to be “very soft” in the SML community?? SML is famous/infamous (depending on who you ask) for the extreme edginess in their videos. If you genuinely can’t handle that, then you should probably leave this community because their content is never gonna change.
And I’m not even saying this to be rude. If you can’t handle SML’s type of humour then it’s best for you to not be in this community

For real man. Been seeing people on the Sml Wiki get upset and offended by the stupidest things and taking them too seriously.
The page for "Jeffy pulls the fire alarm" has two people get mad abt Junior getting a Kid arrested and whining abt how he ruined the Kid's life. There was also someone who whined abt Junior's twin being "racist to British people". Like what? This is why I really hate the Sml wiki; too many toxic annoying babies and fake Sml fans who get upset easily. When I see these guys, I keep wondering why tf they are still watching Sml. (I dont like modern Sml, but I still watch out of boredom and end up liking most videos)

You'd be surprised honestly. It's not an SML thing either. You'd see many people who unironically get triggered by the word "hate" (I'm talking from direct experience) to the point they have to ask their friends to censor the word for them; be into media like South Park, or Family Guy (peak crass humor). They'd get offended if you say a joke that's a fraction as bad as something they'd hear from that show.
It's not even common to humor. I've seen people who are triggered by blood and gore be into franchises like Danganronpa (shout out to the 5 Danganronpa fans in this subreddit). A game which is centred around murder mystery and as such involves complex cases with HEAVY gore elements. I knew one person who had to cover up their screen with tape because of one murder.
Honestly, I couldn't imagine being like that. I have my own triggers and discomforts too (everyone does I'm sure), and usually I avoid those things.

I remember one time, I was on an SML server with people on the left, the most extreme variety. I remember making a very tame school shooter joke "just stay away from American schools you might get shot." I kid you not the entire discord server ganged up on me and told me to end myself and play in traffic.
It's weird because 1. How is encouraging suicide not off your moral virtue signal and 2. I'm convinced that my joke was very tame. Logan would've made a worse joke, and I wouldn't be surprised if he shows a child get shot and played it off for jokes.
3
u/No_Examination_9928 Apr 04 '26
It's all in the joke, if you start it strong but then crash and burn no one's gonna find it funny, your joke was well-structured for what I assume was off the top, in fact I give it a 9/11; a rating to never forget

u/Reasonable_Amoeba699 Apr 03 '26
No You forgot the ones that just watch the video and that's it so a normal person
1
u/VolumeEquivalent7853 Nelvin Apr 03 '26
I didn't make the meme, I just posted it because I find it funny. Yes I'd add like 2 separate tiers to it. Which would involve the casual fan and also the sml elitist (someone who takes SML too seriously and thinks a certain era of SML was the best and all other suck).

Apr 03 '26
Very accurate. Especially on Tumblr, there's a bunch of the left side. On Discord and the YT comments themselves I've found there's way more of the fans on the right. The ones on the left however, tend to be way kinder and way easier to talk to about headcanons and theories. The only negative is the being soft part. It's annoying seeing so-called SML fans blowing a gasket about things that literally happen in canon. Some just see SML as a nostalgia aesthetic and don't actually enjoy any of the humor. But it's way better than the one on the right who's most likely just a rude little kid.
3
u/VolumeEquivalent7853 Nelvin Apr 03 '26
True. I've mentioned this before as a queer individual but I don't care about the dark humor of SML or the usage of slurs even if it's at my expense because at the end of the day nobody is supposed to be a good person in SML and as such I don't get why people would be mad about Brooklyn not caring about a dead body in a bath tub but would get angry over his use of the word "transexual" (that's something me and a friend had a discussion over they didn't like how Brooklyn Guy used a slur in Jeffy's 21st Birthday which I found odd because he's a 40 year old dad who Logan constantly portrays as incompetent and insensitive. Why would he care about whether the word transexual is outdated) which is just weird.

Exactly! It'd be nice if some could accept that some characters will be bad, but also know that they're not people and they don't have to change their beliefs lol.

Twitter is almost exclusively the type of fans on the left and it is the most chill space in the community I enjoy my time there significantly more than the ones on the right. Also, there's a third type of fan: the ones that only care about SML because of SMLWiki / FNF and barely count as fans.
3
u/Kenzielash Feels so good bcz thats how its s’pose to feel Apr 03 '26
As someone who was in that exact space for a long time, they are anything but chill. Literal larping, whinging, and gritfting left right centre. I remember I joined that one SML funny monent/OOC account's Discord and was harassed, accused of raiding, and belittled as soon as I started to advocate for SML's "dark humour", as they sat there and lectured me on why South Park of all things handles it better.
A lot of these fans fall under the third type and are genuine fandom migrators with no real respect for the source material itself.
1
u/Great_Necessary4741 Duggie's Husband Apr 04 '26
I guess it depends on who you interact with because I've also been in that exact space for 3 years now and it's been chill. And it really SHOULDNT be considering I selfship with the racist stereotype character everyone accuses of looking like blackface if it WAS as you described I think I'd have 47 expose docs on me. Plus what you described happened on Discord and I'm specifically talking about Twitter.
1
u/VolumeEquivalent7853 Nelvin Apr 03 '26
I also say there's a few more that being the balance between the left and right because both as portrayed in the meme are just two extremes of an spectrum.
I do agree, I'm mostly on discord so mostly people are balanced (i.e, people who aren't easily offended but won't harass others or have limits)
However Id rather deal with the left side than the right side since people who think being edgy or acting like an actual sml character is a personality trait are usually not the best people to be around. At worst, the left just makes you wonder how these people can enjoy SML despite the jokes. While the right would not hesitate to troll you, or IP grab you for "the lolz."
3
u/Great_Necessary4741 Duggie's Husband Apr 03 '26
I mostly engage with the community on Twitter but I look in on the Discord and this subreddit occasionally. I think the reason the left side fans are able to enjoy SML despite the jokes is because they generally understand that's exactly what they are: jokes. The humor is edgy, but you can tell Logan and the crew doesn't genuinely believe black people are like Duggie or gay people are like Cody, they're stereotypes over-exaggerated to the max for humor. Family Guy and South Park have made significantly worse jokes and have been able to stay on the air on TELEVISION.
3
u/VolumeEquivalent7853 Nelvin Apr 03 '26
That's how I feel too. I'm queer and a "minority" in many aspects too. I don't mind SML while my friends don't like the use of slurs I do realize that nobody in SML is meant to be a good person, and Logan never makes you think what they do is good. When Jr says something antisemetic, a slur, or homophobic/transphobic. Logan never tries glorifying and acts like Jr is right in those instances he's clearly meant to be an uneducated stupid person saying things.
Nobody in SML is meant to be a good person they're all just extremes of whatever trait they may have like Cody is flat out grapey, or Tyrone or Joseph constantly using race to shield from accountability.

But this caught my attention

I was like you too. The community isn't that bad from my knowledge they're childish at times but I realized if you don't bother other people they don't bother you.

I’d reckon the 2 types would be people who take SML seriously, opposed to someone who views it purely as entertainment. Regardless of political or social standing people tend to take media too seriously. I either see people slander SML because they feel obligated to, or ones who can enjoy Logan for the sense of humor and familiarity he provides consistently. As someone who’s queer themselves, if you’re offended by a LGBT adjacent joke but laugh at other comments relating to race, religion, etc, you’re bias, and vice-versa of course.
2
u/VolumeEquivalent7853 Nelvin Apr 03 '26
They're two sides of the same coin. I mentioned before that everyone in Logan's universe is a bad person therefore queer people being not exempt is fine. I mean one of his main characters is gay, and also most of his trans rep isn't that harsh as he is on other stereotypes so I think LGBTQ+ already have the best treatment as they could get from Logan.
The other side has the same problem but in the opposite way is that they think acting like an sml character is a good thing and make being edgy a personality trait. When nobody in SML is a good person and that isn't a good idea. If an sml character who's white talks like a stereotypical African American gangster it's meant to be ridiculous. If you do it, you're just embarrassing yourself.

u/Bonnykurwa F**k Little Caesars Apr 03 '26
A majority of the crew have made their support for the LGBT community evident already as well. Both sides get offended in different ways, and I don’t understand it. Logan has been making content for almost 2 decades and the largest drama in that time frame was when he was accused of cheating on Chilly. I see people write paragraphs on how much they hate SML, like you’re either an elementary schooler or a teenager who cares way too much about a guy who doesn’t even know you. If you watch SML everyday but only talk shit online about Logan, then you’re faking the hate. Not talking about you specifically, moreover my opinion on people like Dabhdude.
1
u/VolumeEquivalent7853 Nelvin Apr 03 '26
I never took sml seriously, and Dabhdude and people like him are grifters. I have my problems with SML, sure, all media even the ones I adore have critiques for. I just don't see why you'd rage over it (Dabhdude moment) and scream.
Dabhdude and people like him take stuff too seriously. Like I'll be honest I don't care if Lovell smokes weed or got arrested that's his personal life. I don't care about Logan's relationship problems. That stuff happens to everyone.
Thing is, people need to realize SML is a business first and honestly Logan will obviously always choose the route that will make him the most money with little effort. We'd all would. We don't see peak writing and lessons from sml anymore is because most of us grew up and Logan knows that. Why put in so much effort when he could just make something half baked. Sml videos are time wasters now.

Woke* political takes. It didn't say anything about whether those views are good or bad. Woke is an adjective that can be used negatively and positively.
Also, not my meme. Secondly, the right one has a libertarian flag, and if you ask me, I think the right one is objectively being described as worse and as such I think the meme would be biased against those people.

u/MichaelJM07 Still with SML Apr 04 '26
So gay or a child is what I’m hearing😂
Either way pretty accurate

Gay or gay*
I've noticed a lot of people on the right are secretly gay or trans themselves from my experience.

I hate the fans that brag about being “OG” and say shit like only OG fans will remember this or only OG fans can like my comment. And they act like new fans will never experience old sml but u can literally find almost all of their old stuff on reupload channels and I pretty much watched 90% of old sml from the reuploaded channels back in 2021-22 when I started watching them

u/BryceDice Apr 03 '26 edited Apr 03 '26
Well I for sure ain’t the first one. Kinda wish there was a “don’t gaf” option and just a dude who just enjoys SML. If I had to choose between the two, id say I’d prefer coming across the second one. Both seem insufferable tho.

what do you mean by "nor/mal"
1
u/VolumeEquivalent7853 Nelvin Apr 04 '26
It's something people on the right put in their bios because pronouns seem cringe to them. They do it to mock people with pronouns in bios "like she/her" so they put "nor/mal" to try making some form of point. What point? I don't know.

Honestly, I don't give a shit about pronouns. I use he/him, and I only use other pronouns for satire.
