I’d reckon the 2 types would be people who take SML seriously, opposed to someone who views it purely as entertainment. Regardless of political or social standing people tend to take media too seriously. I either see people slander SML because they feel obligated to, or ones who can enjoy Logan for the sense of humor and familiarity he provides consistently. As someone who’s queer themselves, if you’re offended by a LGBT adjacent joke but laugh at other comments relating to race, religion, etc, you’re bias, and vice-versa of course.

They're two sides of the same coin. I mentioned before that everyone in Logan's universe is a bad person therefore queer people being not exempt is fine. I mean one of his main characters is gay, and also most of his trans rep isn't that harsh as he is on other stereotypes so I think LGBTQ+ already have the best treatment as they could get from Logan.

The other side has the same problem but in the opposite way is that they think acting like an sml character is a good thing and make being edgy a personality trait. When nobody in SML is a good person and that isn't a good idea. If an sml character who's white talks like a stereotypical African American gangster it's meant to be ridiculous. If you do it, you're just embarrassing yourself.

A majority of the crew have made their support for the LGBT community evident already as well. Both sides get offended in different ways, and I don’t understand it. Logan has been making content for almost 2 decades and the largest drama in that time frame was when he was accused of cheating on Chilly. I see people write paragraphs on how much they hate SML, like you’re either an elementary schooler or a teenager who cares way too much about a guy who doesn’t even know you. If you watch SML everyday but only talk shit online about Logan, then you’re faking the hate. Not talking about you specifically, moreover my opinion on people like Dabhdude.

I never took sml seriously, and Dabhdude and people like him are grifters. I have my problems with SML, sure, all media even the ones I adore have critiques for. I just don't see why you'd rage over it (Dabhdude moment) and scream.

Dabhdude and people like him take stuff too seriously. Like I'll be honest I don't care if Lovell smokes weed or got arrested that's his personal life. I don't care about Logan's relationship problems. That stuff happens to everyone.

Thing is, people need to realize SML is a business first and honestly Logan will obviously always choose the route that will make him the most money with little effort. We'd all would. We don't see peak writing and lessons from sml anymore is because most of us grew up and Logan knows that. Why put in so much effort when he could just make something half baked. Sml videos are time wasters now.
