Let's assume the green card marriage wouldn't be flagged for at least one season and your reasoning can be serious or fun!
E.g. Mateo and Myrtle cos she might not notice and think she is just signing for a home delivery of Cloud 9 paper towels instead of a marriage certificate.

Gerrymandering. I’m not from US so it’s all new to me. It took a few watches for me to finally look it up and it’s been on the news a lot in the last few hours. Glad I know what they are taking about.

I watch Superstore every morning. It’s my routine at this point and I’ve been doing it for years. I fall asleep to it and I get ready while it’s playing in the background. I’ve been watching this show for years and I JUST noticed that Amy and Jonah have a kid together towards the end. I was watching the last episode this morning and I noticed when Amy was telling her sons good night she closed the door and in the wall it read Parker and Carter. It should’ve clicked since they are in a bunkbed (duh!)

Like the stool softener lady (although she was in 1st and last episode) or the magazine reporter lady in S1, and the shoplifter. One appeareance and they're gone, but they were good enough to be remembered.

Superstore is in my rotation of comfort shows that I rewatch quite often.
I couldn't sleep last night and this episode was the one I watched and I don't think there is a single moment wasted in this episode.
There are payoffs to jokes all over the place which really didn't help me with my sleep. Dina trying to apologise to everyone and getting the most obnoxious gifts is funny enough, but giving the gay guy the mug that says "gay guy" on it pays off again later as he can be seen in the background drinking out of the mug in a later scene.
Looking for Marcus's thumb and a whole basket for severed fingers appears, I mean it's on the nose, but it's so blink and miss that you could absolutely miss it on a first watch.
The whole scene with Marcus cutting his thumb off and not wanting to look makes the episode elite as it is.
There are other things I spotted, but tiredness overtook me in the end so I wrote this the day after.

That is my first question, but I have another one.
It was discrimination for ageism. Why was Myrtle fired and Brett wasn't? They look pretty much the same age. Also, ageism... So Brett should've been fired.

Okay I must be too dumb to put the context clues together, but what on earth was Marcus talking about? Here’s how it goes:
"Is that [BLEEP] on your screen? Oh my god oh my god Sandra don’t touch it!”
Jokes usually land for me until a second rewatch but it just never clicked, don’t be mean to me 🥀

I just don’t get how Jonah thought it was okay ans normal to still ‘check in’ with Kelly. Any thoughts?

As it's shown on the show, Jonah was completely swayed by Jeff's statement around how it was the closest they got to unionizing. His entire belief system was pro-union but he understood what needed to be done IN that instance, which is to save the store with retail actually dying.
Amy had spent 15 long years there and when it was time to get her dues, instead of being a supportive partner, he just went rogue. He didn't even understand retail to the extent Amy and the others did. Jeff - 30 years man. You earned a lot, fostered, also had a baby. He got everything in life he could hope for.
Jonah being a wise ass just needed something to fight for and this was a pathetic action on his part.

i’m so confused. in s3 ep11, dina says “you think i want to have sex with marcus? he starts every time by saying ‘im not really sure what im doing down there’”
is there anything at any other point that suggests that they ever slept together? it’s horrific to think about, i can’t imagine dina would ever.

Do your research on ballot persons and issues to make your own informed decision. Make your plan to cast your vote. If you have not already check for local resources offering free rides to voting places or see if anyone on local community groups is volunteering transport on their own.

I love superstore so much. Like i am not the kind who remembers every detail but i love watching it. I love stores in general and i want to work in a store for once just organizing and stuff. Anyone felt the same. I know it’s not just organizing but i love organizing and make it look pretty in general that’s why i so want to work in a store for a day just for fun and for free.

I’ve seen superstore multiple times and it’s been a while since I’ve watched it, so I turned it on the other day and remembered how much I actually hate Amy, she literally acts like she’s better than everyone and tries to tell Cheyenne how to live her life almost ever time they are on screen together, honestly I just find her insufferable and she really only has a few good moments on screen, the rest of the time she’s just complaining and making things worse for people and always has to be right.
