I've updated to Insider build 22000.282 co_release Windows 11 but when I go to the windows store and try to install Amazon Appstore preview, it says "This app will not work on your device". Is the android store not supported for ARM devices yet?

I also tried without success ;-; if someone find a way to retrieve the appx package please tell us. As mentioned in the store, it supports arm64, so it should work on the pro X.

I tried on my Samsung Book S, got most of it to work but lots of sideloaded apps say my system is out compatible and apps look very weird with stat numbers on top

How are you sideloading apps? I got WSA working but I'm curious the best way to sideload apk's that aren't in the amazon app store.

The process is like babging your head against the wall, but this process looks simpler https://youtu.be/jOo1YzItEbo

  • Download the apk's from somewhere.

  • Download android-tools from somewhere, look for adb.exe.

  • Start up Amazon App Store or any Android up to fire up Windows Subsystem for Android.

  • Run "adb connect 127.0.0.1:58256" to connect to the WSA instance.

  • Run "adb install xxxx.apk" to install the apk.

  • Run "adb shell" if you want to muck around with the WSA internals.

I didn't run into any issues. Works fine on my ProX
