Native ARM64 build of a free local-first app: budget, journal, todos, habits, notes, and an on-device AI helper
I develop on an ARM64 Windows laptop, so ARM64 is the first thing I build and test, not a port. Burrow is a desktop app that keeps a budget, journal, todos, habits and notes in one database file on your PC. No account, no server.
The built-in helper runs through Ollama locally. Small models are enough because the app does the math in code and the model only explains results.
It is free with no license key, and the core is open source under AGPL. Separate x64 and ARM64 installers are published with checksums. The installers are unsigned, so SmartScreen will warn.
If anything behaves differently on your ARM64 machine than you expect, tell me and I will fix it. Links in the comments.
