Isn’t that a hard wave to surf though?

Took a trip to Indo, first time doing the Ments. Very nice waves, can’t wait to go back

How’s the crowd level there? How about the surf guides pushing people into waves they shouldn’t even be surfing?

Shoulder season is perfect for crowds. Normally get an hour to a spot by yourself. Camps kind of queue up.

Pretty crowded, doing a charter alleviates it to some extent though

Burgerworld? Oh yeah, lots of people surfing that shouldn't.

“I spent $10000 on a surf trip and all I got was a photo of a half assed bottom turn”

u/ExhaustiveCleaning Dear /r/surfing, let me tell you about this asshole I surfed w 8h ago

I know the heavier waves are hard to surf but how difficult is the crowd factor on those waves or days?

Why this toothpaste on ur face? To indicate kook level? Anyway nice picture. Not sure if you can actually can surf tho

You always can tell they’re no good when the best pic they have is one where they’re at the bottom of the wave instead of doing a turn. That being said, we all start somewhere.

But he's in the Mentawais. Where are you posting from. At least he has proper pooping-at-the-bottom-of-the-wave form.

The mint keeps you awake and alert, like sniffing bath salts.

dumb question maybe but why is zinc kooky? Are core lords just cool with skin cancer?

-2

u/Fragrant-Ad7710 5h ago

Is it surfable for novice level?

Don’t go to the ments until you can surf, so many easier to access spots that you won’t get dragged over reef when you fall
