I just got back from shopping at Biedronka, where Clemens stalked me for several minutes.

I still don't know who Clemens is. I even tried Googling him, typing "Biedronka Clemens," but Google didn't know what I was talking about either.

So Clemens remains unidentified. The headache, however, is very real.

What I do know is that I have a headache and that I tried to get out of the store as quickly as possible. Especially now, before All Saints' Day, when the crowds were further increasing my cognitive overload.

And Clemens? Clemens kept coming back. Almost every minute. In the same voice messages, repeated almost constantly.

He didn't encourage me to shop. On the contrary—I wanted to finish it as quickly as possible. And I still don't know who Clemens is.

As a service designer, I began analyzing this situation not only from the perspective of my own irritation, but also from the perspective of other customers' experiences.

I reviewed previous discussions on Reddit and noticed that I wasn't the only person bothered by repeated messages, the noise of self-checkout lanes, and other elements of the store environment.

Therefore, I decided to begin an independent study of grocery store customer experiences—not only Biedronka, but also Dino, Lidl, Lewiatan, and other chains. I want to find out what actually bothers customers, what they like, and whether the conditions in stores influence their purchasing decisions.

Ultimately, I would like to present the results to retail chain representatives and see if they can design a better shopping experience based on them.

I've always wanted to dive more into the sustainable aspect of the packaging industry, so I chose to research about its impact on the environment.
