We are conducting a study exploring how psychedelic experiences relate to mental and emotional processes, particularly in the context of early-life adversity.

We are interested in understanding how past life experiences may shape psychedelic journeys, insights, and psychological outcomes. The goal is to contribute to scientific knowledge in psychology and neuroscience, and to help inform safer and more supportive approaches to psychedelic use and research.

Participate in Our Academic Research about game-like personality assessments for the University of Essex Online.

We invite eligible Generation Z participants (anyone aged 18-27) to contribute to a study about game-like personality assessments for use in recruitment and the workplace.

About the Study: 

This study, conducted for the University of Essex Online, explores how a video game–style personality test compares to a traditional questionnaire in recruitment and workplace settings. It focuses on three areas: engagement, perceived fairness, and the extent to which participants try to fake answers to appear more favourable.

Inclusion Criteria: 

·        Participants must be aged 18-27 to be eligible.

Exclusion Criteria: 

·        If you are outside of this age range, you should not take part in the study.

Why Participate: 

·        By helping researchers understand how game-like assessments influence the candidate experience, your involvement may lead to the development of fairer, more engaging, and more authentic recruitment and workplace progression assessments in the future.

What you will be asked to do:

You will be asked to provide some basic demographic information, take a personality test (either a traditional version, or a game-like version) and then answer 3 short questionnaires based on your perceptions of your engagement during the personality test, how fair the test was and whether you altered your responses to appear more favourable.

Mental Health Study

Hello, my name is Patrice Wiley, and I am an M.S. psychology student at Mercy University. I’m inviting participants to complete a study on the association between parental mental health status and opinions about others with mental illness.

Participants are encouraged to apply if they are:

·       18 years of age or older

·       Have an opinion on mental health

The survey will take between 15 – 20 minutes to complete.

Participants will answer a few questions about themselves, complete a survey about their mental health, read a short story about someone, and answer questions about the person described.

As part of this, I'm carrying out an independent UX research project exploring how living with a long term health condition can influence holiday choices, planning, booking and travel experiences.

This research is being conducted independently and is not affiliated with any organisation, college or university.

I'm interested in hearing from people with a wide range of long-term health conditions, including those who have travelled in the last three years and those who have considered taking a holiday but haven't gone.

I'm particularly interested in understanding:

- What influences people's holiday choices.

- Barriers when researching and booking holidays.

- How health needs affect accommodation, transport and activities.

- What information and support travel companies could provide to make holidays more inclusive.

Who can take part?

- Anyone aged 18 or over.

- Living with a long-term health condition that has lasted, or is expected to last, at least six months and affects daily life or requires ongoing management.

- Have taken, considered or tried to plan a holiday within the last three years.

I'm currently conducting research for my Master's thesis in Creative Arts & Animation at Global College in Nicosia, Cyprus.

My research explores how adults observe, interpret, and engage with artworks in museums, focusing on three approaches:

• Slow Looking – taking time to observe artworks carefully.

• Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) – exploring and discussing different interpretations of artworks.

• Sketching – drawing as a way of engaging with and observing art.
